Wireless vs. Bluetooth

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these as a present for my son to use with his Samsung phone, but with only a USB-C plug on his phone, he would have to use an adapter when taking work phone calls. They are also wireless, not bluetooth, so he wouldn't be able to connect to other bluetooth-enabled devices. These were show-stoppers, so I took them back. These are really meant for gamers and connecting directly to a computer or laptop. I had to give an overall rating and the 3 stars mean nothing other than I had to give them some rating in order to write this review. I learned to be more careful with wireless vs. bluetooth. These might be very good for their intended use, I just can't comment on that. The only reason I'm saying I don't recommend them is, again, I had to pick something, and I don't want to mislead others by saying they are either good or bad for gaming. They were not good for what I needed but that is on me for not being more careful in understanding how to use these before I purchased them. I returned them and bought a pair of Bose QuietComfort 35 IIs.
