After 2 weeks of use, the microphone would start to have issues recording your own voice. It got to a point where the mic would just stop connecting all together.

I recently purchased this headset in store and was a little hesitant to spend so much but I am very pleased. First off, the headset looks very cool! It is very comfortable considering it carries a little more weight than my previous headset and still more comfortable. I had read reviews describing it as "feeling flemsy" but I found it feels well made and sturdy. The sound quality is awesome, by far the best sounding headset I've ever owned. The only con I have is a personal preference wishing it was a simple USB connection but it is nice that it works for gaming consoles as well!

I am extremely picky about things I spend money on , if I pay for a product I want to get my moneys worth and more. With this gaming headset,I have received just that. Headphones are not very heavy they are extremely comfortable the in-line mic control is very easy to use and you don't have to look at it to use it. These headphones have the perfect amount of bass in them so it is easy to get immersed in the gaming experience. PC Gamer gave them great reviews for a reason.

Given I got these on sale and used my rewards certificate can't complain about the price. The ear cups engulf my ears giving total sound immersion, not to tight on the sides of the head, and overall lighter fill than my lower console headsets, and the sound quality is superb compared to some high end and equal valued headphones and gaming headsets I tried in store. I'd rock these over my Beats by Dre. any day.

    Great gaming headset for XBOne

The HyperX Cloud Revolver gaming headset is definitely a great buy. It provides crystal clear audio in-game so I always have the upper hand during my gaming sessions. I use it for the XBOne and it is compatible with PS4 and PC gaming setups as well. My friends always ask what headset I'm using because they're always surprised with the sound quality of my voice. I expect the sturdy build to last a long time as well. My only complaint is that the length of the audio cable without the PC adapter is a little too short for me (1 foot), other than that this is a great set of headphones for gaming.

    Great Comfort and Quality

I have a bit of a wide head, and the clamping force on the frame is absolutely perfect for me. The steel frame feels unbreakable in daily use, and the headband and cups are suuuuper comfy. My friends in discord say the noise-cancellation mic got rid of the sound of the train right outside my window passing by and still hear me great. The sound quality is what I expect for the price- fantastic. My only complaint is that the splitter wasn't working for a while, but ended up working after a little bit of fiddling around. Could just be a user error though lol

    Great Sound, Terrible Mic

I purchased the cloud revolvers as an upgrade for my turtlebeach px22's. The sound quality of the revolver is amazing. Excellent range and tone. Creates a very immersive gaming experience. The mic however, is terrible. All of my gaming buddies instantly complained about the quality of my mic. They said I sounded muffled, and that they could hear all sorts of backround noise. For me this is a deal breaker. I will be returning these and looking at Steelseries or Astros as a better alternative.

    Disappointing for the Price

This headset compared to what I had used before, the Razer Kraken 7.1 was just awful. The in game sound for competitive play, such as games like CS:GO is better than average, but it's just not worth the $120 price tag. If you're looking for something good for gaming and music, I'd have to suggest the Kraken 7.1 Chroma headset, being at that $100 price tag, and usually on sale for around 80, it's 110% worth it. Only 6 days into using this headset I'm already experiencing ringing issues, the steel bars on the top ring through your ears and microphone when you bump it against anything, and rubbing the cable gives off an annoying scratchy sound, which is avoidable, but louder than many other headsets that have similar problems. If you're sticking around HyperX, I'd suggest the Cloud II over this. But although razer can overprice their tech, the krakens are the best purchase I've ever made in affordable gaming audio.

    Great... when the mic works.

These headphones sound pretty good. Well balanced for all games. My issue is the mic works half of the time. I'm constantly unplugging it and plugging it back in to get it to work for PC and PS4. I Think I'll go with a different brand.

    Decent headphones, not for price

I got these headphones knowing the brand was pretty good and liking the fact that I could connect them with all my devices. Ultimately, the headphones are of a nice quality; despite the one time i had issues with the cables lining up and not working. That only happened once. Besides that though, my biggest peeve is the feeling on my ears after a long sit. After about two hours of use, my ears start to ache and the headphones start to feel "wrong" on my head. If the price was maybe halved or at least taken down by a quarter amount, then the cons would be outweighed. As of now, $120 headphones should be more comfortable.

Not 7.1 surround. Mike to weak to hear, boosted by even 10db brings a hiss. Clamping force game me a headache. They are not adjustable. Could hear my pulse in the headset. Tried to widen them but failed. All movement or touching of metal headband, cord, or mike are loud. I used them for two days (12hrs) to try to get used to them. No software included. Overall, an annoying experience. Expected better, but disappointed, and now I have to return them.

    Is not for console

So I bought this thinking I'd have a pretty decent headset after reading the reviews. I unboxed it and didn't even try it out before putting it back in the box and taking it back. THIS IS NOT FOR CONSOLES. Ok while that statement isn't strictly true you should be clear about one thing. On Xbox you need an adapter to plug into your controller. PS4 connects right out of the box but you have zero volume control and mute control because the control dongle that comes with it is meant solely for PC. It takes your single 3.5mm connection and splits it into headphones and mic which as any of you know a PS4 you can't connect it that way. This is by far the worst headset design I have ever seen. HyperX should be ashamed that they advertise this as a universal headset.

Bought these to replace my logitech G430 and i was REALLY disappointed..... The one thing i keep hearing was how they were really comfortable and they really are but thats about it. Sound quality/Mic is worst than my older set of Logitech G930. And the also the BIGGEST issue is the MIC! You cant move the mic out the way unless you DETACH IT! And if you detach the mic you have to restart your computer to get it to recognize the mic again! Worst design ever.

I hate to give this headset one star, but the one I bought was defective from the second or third week, when I started to hear a slight static noise when the wire was moved. It got progressively worse, until recently when I realized I was getting static all the time, unless I played with the wire. Then if the wire moved even a little bit, static all over again. Great design, great sound, but disappointed in quality control (or lack of).
