Poor sound quality. However good build quality. Very easy plug and play.

Not really what I expected but the price wasn’t too bad

Unfortunately I did not get to use it longer than ten minutes. The left headset speaker was not working out of the box (which is the reason I was looking for a hyperX replacement in the first place).

Couldn't carry signal even when it was 3 feet away from the USB, I had no idea what could be done, and the external HyperX Support didn't contact me to help after 5 business days. I wouldn't recommend this at all.

Auto turn off feature? Not helpful at all I am using this for work I take inbound calls! LOL I am going to have to return these.

Mic is horrible, it doesn't pick up your voice, also no one can hear you even if the mic is up your mouth, im using it on a ps5 fyi.

The mic kept cutting me out and wouldnt be able so i would be there mid sentence and then it will stop me

Bought this headset because I knew it was good for the Playstation. However, I tried it for a conference call and it's AMAZING. in fact I've had 2 people comment on the clarity today. The toggle of the boom mic is nice as well which gives me the ability to walk around and mute myself manually rather than with soft button in the app. Very comfortable to wear for long periods. The only thing better would be a slightly lower price tag. I feel like $60 would make this a perfect option for everyone. Well done HyperX. Keep up the good work.

So, to be fair the older model Cloud Stinger Core Wireless (the one without the terrible simulated 7.1 surround sound) was the best wireless gaming headset I'd ever owned. Considering most I've owned cost well over $100 and CSCW came in at $80, that was really an accomplishment. It was super light and comfortable, had surprisingly GREAT audio and a fantastic mic to boot. Unfortunately, the mic died on me at just over a year from the purchase date. When I saw that there was a newer model with 7.1 support and more comfortable ear and headband cushions, for the same $80, I ran straight to my local Best Buy to grab one. Okay, long story short... Yes, the new model is more comfortable than the old one, which is really saying something positive. Unfortunately that's where the positives end. It still sounded good, but not nearly as good as the original model. Something changed there, and not for the better. I'm talking standard stereo mode with no HyperX software. But that alone wasn't enough to make me return it. What was? The mic on the new 7.1 model is absolute garbage. Period. It was so bad I thought I must have gotten a defective unit. So I returned it, and the brand new replacement was exactly the same. With the old model I could keep the mic a few inches away from my face and just above the tip of my nose and be heard perfectly, even when talking in a hushed voice. With the new model I had to keep the mic, literally, right on my mouth, and was forced to always speak louder than normal to be heard. I've since returned the replacement and now use the old headset with an external mic. It's a shame because my first HyperX product ever really impressed me, and I'm really hard guy to impress. Unfortunately, it seems like they're going in the wrong direction when it comes to quality of components, and worse they're masking downgrades as upgrades. That's unacceptable to me, and therefore I won't be purchasing HyperX again.

The sound quality is good for the price its simple easy to use even my dad could use them u would recommend.

Feels flimsy .. maybe because it is so light.. but also does mean it is all plastic. Since it is not bluetooth, it should have a 1/8 in jack to extend its usability to listen to music... right now it's basically a fixed use device - you must have a computer nearby where you can plug the dongle whereas with an input cable you could take it everywhere. Yes, I get it: if I wanted a BT device I would have bought on... and yeah, if all you want is gaming, then this is for you. Also works with Microsoft Teams, so you can use if for your virtual meetings. Great sounding headphones but very bassy though: checked with some Rush, Debussy, classical guitar, jazz guitar. Tested on a Macbook with BigSur 11.6 - it immediately displays the device in the sound icon.

Totally awesome headset. I had to get a new headset. Because my old headset earmuffs finally came off and I couldn't find replacements.

Having a USB-C port instead of a MicroUSB Port is such a great feature on headphones like these. Almost all of my other devices are USB C so having this helps immensely with keeping my desk nice and clean.

Awesome headphones, great range. Driving games get realistic side to side sound.

Sound quality is great, but microphone quality is not so great and very quiet/grainy.
