Lots of content but gets slightly repetitive after a while. Lag is a major issue especially in two player.

I like that the game allows for 2 player and that you can switch characters. I enjoy the action.

This is an awesome hack and slash game for those of you who love the legend of Zelda series. However, don't expect it to be the next breath of the wild. This is not a direct part of the series. The cool thing about this game is that it takes place 100 years prior t BOTW so you can see Hyrule before the carnage!!

Not Zelda in the classic sense, but a great pickup and play title. I sometimes go months between playing and never have an issue

Good game. Set before the events of BOTW, so play this if you want to know what happened 100 years earlier.

Very enjoyable game. Loved having wave after wave of additional enemies. Loved that the continuation of breath of the wild and the art style.

Did you enjoy Breath of the Wild? This is just more goodness of that. Yes, the game can be a little slow sometimes and the Switch will chug along trying to render everything on the screen, but the fights with all of the different characters is amazing! I love this game! Give me more Zelda!

This game is a solid follow-up to the first game and adapts a lot of Breath of the Wild's systems well. However, if you've played the first Hyrule Warriors a lot, the controllers will.take getting used to as everything has changed to fit BotW's mechanics.

Got this game For myself and my niece for Christmas. She immediately started playing it. We both loved the breath of the wild. This game is a lot of the same, with a little more of the backstory. But it doesn’t disappoint. But if you’re looking for something different or new you may be disappointed.

This game lets you go into the past to see how the great calamity played out from a different point of you. I won’t spoil the game but just know its a lot of fun. If i have 1 take away from it being really good is the Switch does chug and frame rates dip a bit when playing 2 player spilt screen.

Love the game is great to release the frustations of the day. It's very different from Breath of the wild so if you are expecting that that, this is not the game for you. If you want to sit and start fighting not only as Link but as other Characters of the game, then this is the game for you

I purchased two of these games from Best Buy as Christmas gifts for my Grandson's. Both of them are over the moon happy with this gift! The graphics are beautiful to view, and they have not stopped talking about it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a different experience in gaming.

Excellent game that follows Zelda BOTW with more backstory. Worth it for the lore alone. Gameplay is significantly different than that of BOTW, however. (Think just the fight mechanics without the world exploration aspects)

Firstly this game is different than Zelda BotW in that this game isn't entirely an open world exploration. The puzzle aspect isn't as prevalent from BotW. That being said this is a very fun game! wouldn't want to kill hundreds of not thousands of bokogoblins, moblins, and other enemies from BotW.

Amazing game with similar feeling to the first Hyrule warriors. Only issue is the frame rate at times

It's not Breath of the Wild, although it's set in the same era(?). It's like Dynasty Warriors for PS2. You run around defeating hordes of enemies and can switch between different characters. You have missions and allies. It's solid, but don't expect BOTW from this game.

Great game if you love Zelda and want to smash thousands of bad guys with your sword. i have played about 4-5 hours and im enjoying it so far.

If you are a fan of the Dynasty Warriors franchise you're gonna love this game. If you were a fan of the previous Hyrule Warriors you're going to love this one even more. Much of the same gameplay comes back with odes to Breath of the Wild making this def a good purchase for the Switch.

It is very difficult finding a gift for my birthday! This Christmas I decided to buy him a game for his Nintendo switch. Several people recommended this game in particular, and they had bought it from Best Buy. So I bought mine from Best Buy as well, and my brother absolutely loves it!

Love the entire LoZ franchise. Put many hours into BotW and this so far is a nice filler until the sequel. It maintains some of the same controls. Wonderful soundtrack and visuals. Fingers crossed for the sequel! Mostly biased review but if you like to hack and slash this is one to consider.
