I played the original Hyrule Warriors and it was okay. I was excited about this game and the BotW setting, but thought it might become stale like the original Hyrule Warriors. However, I am happy to report that this game has much more variety and replayability, and feels exciting and fresh.

This game is quite good, though not perfect. The frame rate isn't as bad as I was expecting, nor does it feel as monotonous as most 'warriors-style' games from KT. I like the incorporation of proper Zelda lore and the Breath of the Wild map. If I had to level one complaint is that not all of the characters feel that great to play. It does feel slightly repetitive, but again, not as much as other games in the genre.

The fact that this ties into Breath of the Wild is awesome. Gameplay is fun and serves the purpose of the greater story well. I'm not sure if this could have been done any other way as effectively as this game was in order to feature the Champions. Highly recommended to any Zelda fan.

Knowing how Switch games are, I couldn't pass on getting this for $29.99. Package came delivered with no issues. I enjoyed the demo, can't wait to play the full game with my friend. But for now, to the gaming backlog it goes.

I'm a fan of Link/Zelda games. You're reading this because you are too. It lives up to the series' excellence in game play, music, and more recently humor. As an adult fan, its an excellent addition. But more importantly it has been a big hit with my boys. Its a winner.

I have played the first Hyrule Warriors on 3DS & Wii U and I can say this game is a great sequel. I like how this a spin-off of Breath of the Wild. The graphics are great and the gameplay is fun. Since its a Warriors type game, it can be repetitive for most people. Overlooking that, I would recommended this game for fans of the genre.

A good change up to the rpg type of gaming to first person fighting style. It reminds me of monster world but with Zelda! Its a good energy release version of the Zelda series. If you are a Zelda fan, this is a must have.

This game is fantastic! It truly combines the best of Dynasty Warriors and Breath of the Wild into a great game. I also love that there is a two player option; I've been playing this game through with my husband which has been really nice. It has truly become an obsession.

Hyrule Warrors was an OK game. I wish the game mechanics and controllers were similar to that of Breath of the Wild. Some of the buttons were reversed and the controllers on the bow were a bit wonky. The story was good as a prequel but the gameplay was very grindy and repetitive. It's not Breath of the Wild and the exploration is limited. Overall, it was a good game with some replay potential.

I played the original hyrule warriors for the Wii U and I have to say this is a pretty great game. It’s definitely a hack and slash game compared to breath of the wild, but if you can see pat that and grab it for 40 dollars or less than it’s a steal

This is not like Breath of the Wild. This is more so a button mashing with some strategy mixed into the gameplay. It is great playing as the different Guardians. The game plays is good and the visuals are great. I wouldn’t pass on this game if you like Zelda.

This is a superb game. I never got into the original Hyrule Warriors, but the Breath of the Wild tie-in was enough to make me enthusiastic about this one. And once I got into it, the gameplay did not disappoint. But get the Pro Controller to avoid drift frustration!

I really loved Nintendo's first Hyrule Warriors entry, and this one is no exception. The most awesome part of this series is the sheer number of characters you can play as, as well as their various weapons and attacks. Great game while we await our next core Zelda title.

It was a fun game with great gameplay and story. Frame rate issues from time to time

I played breath wild and yes the mechanics are different but If you're hardcore Zelda fan want too experience what happened 100 years before the event and use the other Champion I recommend it they're so freaking cool! I haven't beaten the game yet but so far so good.

I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday. It’s different than the other Zelda games, but he really enjoyed it and put a lot of hours into it. Definitely watch a video or play a demo before purchase if you’re just buying because it’s a Zelda game.

Thought this was going to be like a smash bros. type of game but was pleasantly surprised to see it is more like Zelda. With it being 1 or 2 player someone can join in on heavy battles. My grandson and I have a blast.

Very enjoyable musou style game based off of the Zelda franchise. There is a plethora of characters from the franchise to play as. A definite must for any fan of the series or musou style games. Offers 2p split screen play for family's that play games together.
