I got this for my son who loved playing Breath of the Wild. It's a fun game but the play style is not the same as Breath of the Wild. Look online and you'll find plenty of information on this. He was a little disappointed but got used to it. Now he enjoys playing the game.

I have the first hyrule warriors and while it was okay this one ties into the storyline much better and is more zelda related. The first one was just a dynasty warriors port.

This is a button masher, however you get to learn more of the story before the Breath of the Wild story started. Repetitive game play but fun to unlock and level up characters.

If you’re a Zelda fan, this is a must get! I’m not a big fan but I still consider this a great game hence not being biased here. Must get! Slash through lots of monsters.

Great game!!! Well any zelda based game is good. But this Is different from any other this is a fast hack n slash game. It may not be for everyone. But it is a good experience

Well, I love every Zelda game, whatever flaws they can have, then... This is also a different way to enjoy the characters and storyline.

Daughter wanted this for Christmas, she has played for hours on this game. She also shared this game with her cousins and they were thinking about purchasing their own copy.

Awesome game! Great cut scenes, great graphics, and the gameplay is fantastic with the opportunity to play as a bunch of different characters. I highly recommend it!

Alot of slashing going on in this game! Kinda like a persona game, its pretty good game!! Alot of moves its good to see zelda fight like that!

This game is fantastic for fans of the Hyrule Warriors franchise and ones that loved the lore of Breath of the Wild! Seriously, it's a solid title to be playing in late 2020.

No way my son wouldn’t ask me for this; huge Zelda fan. Completed the game 10x quicker than Beathe of the Wild. However it’s kept him captivated & replays it a lot.

Breath of the wild on roids. If you enjoyed BotW then you will love Age of Calamity. The same art style is back along with familiar faces. It's definitely a good time.

I bought this game for my grand-daughter as a Christmas gift and she loves it! She doesn't normally get into gaming, but this game captivated her! It was a home run gift!

My son loves this game! Although this is a prequel to Zelda Breath of the Wild this is a different game. More action oriented with epic battles you’ll have fun for hours.

I love Zelda games and play all of them. I just started this game on my new Switch Lite. It's a lot like Breath of the Wild. If you liked that one, you will like this one.

You can tell many of these poor reviews are written by people who don't know the existence of a demo for this game is out there and that an original Hyrule Warriors existed before this considering they keep seeming to think this game was supposed to play like "botw" no this is a hyrule warriors breath of the wild style game. Not a Breath of the Wild style game. This game is excellent if you love Dynasty Warriors style games and Zelda! If you are coming in here expecting it to be breath of the wild and are unsure if you will like it, play the demo. It's a great game, it's not for everyone obviously! But I love it!

Yea it’s a hack and slash but there is so much content and so much to do in the game! So may quests and power ups to get it and characters to unlock . It’s well worth it
