While some players found the frame rate and overall performance to be inconsistent at times, the game's action and content were also frequently highlighted as positive aspects. The game's fun factor was also frequently mentioned. However, some players wished for a more open-world experience similar to Breath of the Wild.

Eh
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They should have taken a lot more from BOTW. So many limitations on this map, you are constrained to specific areas. All the things you loved in botw like Revali’s scale, Urbosa’ a Fury...they should have incorporated these abilities in new Hyrule Warriors. 2 player should have allowed for online play. It’s not a bad game, I just hoped they would have adopted more from botw.

Wait for breath of the wild 2
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.*spoilers ahead* I really didn't know that this prequel was nothing but a mass fighter style game, areas aew repetitive and you an annoying R2D2 kick off character, let's not even mention how impa isn't serous and imposing but more like an annoying teenager, u ended up giving it to my one friend the same day I got it as a gift since it overall a lackluster game

Great BotW prequel.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great hack-and-slash prequel to Breath of the Wild. Learn the answers to what happened before BotW, with a great story.

Good set up for breath of the wild
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game story wise is great and has potential. However you cant deny that performance is very bad at times so much so that it hinders gameplay. If you can look past that then this is another great purchase.

Cool concept, not my style.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game was lame - played it for about an hour before throwing it up on the local marketplace and selling it to someone else. Musou-style game, with BOTW backdrop. Fun to play as Impa, but boringgggg "hack-and-slash against an army" gameplay. If you absolutely loved BOTW or Dynasty Warriors, you might find this fun, but it's not something I enjoyed.

Good crossover of BOTW and the Warriors franchise.
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good for fans of BOTW and Warriors games. Lots of levels to play through, but fairly repetitive. Game play isn't deep, but can be satisfying to mow down hordes of enemies with your favorite characters.

Good
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent. More tedious than breath of the wild, but still a nice effort by the folks at nintendo.
