Repetitive, but story is great

The story is infinitely better than the gameplay which gets super repetitive about 1/4 way through. Any fan of Breath of the Wild should at least play this for the story (or watch cut scenes on YouTube haha)

Prequel to Breath of the Wild

Once the main story is done, there’s so many side quests to keep you busy. The fighting style is similar to BOTW but still some hack and slash. I thought the first hyrule warriors was great but this one is better. The play through isn’t as linear and you can do side quests with in between or replay some missions to level up or farm resources for better weapons or armor. Plus you get to see the events before the calamity that take place in BOTW. 10/10 HYAH!

However, if you like dungeon crawlers and Zelda- this is absolutely the game for you.
