If you liked BotW and the first Hyrule Warriors then this will be great for you. Much of the same, with a new look to it. The story revolves around the events that lead up to BotW.

This is a nice twist on the Zelda franchise. Lots of action and exploration. Fast paced too. It tells the story of how calamity Gannon came to be and what happened to Hyrule 100 years before Breath of the Wild. Plenty of characters to play as too. Nice variety of fighting styles.

I have always enjoyed the Dynasty Warriors games, and I like the Legend of Zelda, so mixing the two is a no-brainer for me. Admittedly, I thought this was a remake of the Wii U Hyrule Warriors game, with some extra content. Instead it uses the Breath of the Wild aesthetic and has a completely new story. Not having played BotW, I cannot say if it follows anything with that plot or not. That said, you get a mix of characters from the various races to be found in Zelda games (Zora, Goron, Gerudo, etc), as well as Link, Zelda and some others to play with, and the ability to upgrade them by collecting items in battle to use at various points on the overworld map. Repetitive gameplay, but that is normal for these games, and I find it fun.

Fun Hack and slash game. It is not like Breath of the Wild in terms of game play but, it is an interesting twist on the story leading up to the events of Calamity Gannon.

Love this game! Interesting story but really helps develop the Zeldaverse and really fun to just pick up and play or just power through and become immersed in the story.

Really good game, wonderful controls and combat is very fluid. Decent story that helps add to the fun and world of breath of the wild. It can get slightly repetitive but there is enough thrown in that its not a deal breaker, the combat is pretty much just that good.

I've been meaning to pick this up, and since it's on sale, why not now? No regrets. Played with a friend as well, and had quite the fun. Link's options are plentiful, and each character has plenty of differences. Story is as you've seen and what you'd expect, and if you complain about frame rate in today's settings, you're simply too young for games and should just stick to using a PC. It's definitely different from Hyrule Warriors "1", but it's a good different that gives a reason to have both exist.

Why Age of Calamity is more like Dynasty Warriors in playstyle than Breath of the Wild. The fact that you get to experience the events prior to BoTW is awesome.

VERY FUN. ADDICTING TO PLAY. ALL CHARACTERS ARE UNIQUE. DIFFICULTY CAN BE ADJUSTED IF ITS TOO HARD OR EASY. EASY TO LEARN AND DIFFICULT TO MASTER

The animation is very detailed, the story line is good . The ability to change characters is very unique unlike any other game i have played .

This is a Christmas present for my 20 year old son. He has been watching review videos about this game and will be getting it. Thanks for the fast shipping!

I love this game especially getting the back story to Breath of the Wild. I haven't been able to put my controller since I've got it since it was released.

My first "Dynasty Warriors" game that I purchased due to the tie-in with one of my favorite games of the past decade, Breath of the Wild. I played the demo back in November, pre-ordered this, and started playing the full version about 2 weeks ago, and am hooked! It has received about an hour of my attention 3-4 days per week since, and I'm enjoying every minute. Definitely not a "Zelda" game, but the backstory, look, and sound of the world makes me feel like I'm back in BOTW, just with a very different playstyle. Highly recommended!

This game is great. What a great story and the controls are very easy.

Got this as a gift for my brother and he really enjoys it. Very different from traditional Zelda games, but it's an interesting way to add to the Breath of the Wild lore. Some of the plot points are probably not what you're going to expect, but overall it's a pretty enjoyable game, especially if you like hack and slash style game play. Also a great game to play with a friend/partner/etc, especially if they're a bit more of a novice/casual gamer. There's quite a bit of content to this game if you plan to 100%, so I definitely think it's worth it.

It can get a bit repetitive but with the new Zelda game delayed till next year, I bought it for some Zelda fun.

Play this if you want to take down Lynels in only a minute, send mobs of lesser foes flying, and pilot a Divine Beast. Don't play it if you're only interested in the connection to Breath of the Wild: Warriors gameplay is a completely different, frenetic beast. If you like Hyrule Warriors this is worth a look for an experience that makes more sense. Also, this one has a training room where you can try things out without being in actual combat.

A strong recommendation for any Zelda fan. You get to experience more if the Breath of the Wild world and story. It's fun to play as some of the side characters while saving the kingdom. Some minor technical issues are the only negative.

I’ve had a lot of fun with this game. If you liked Breath of the Wild you’ll like the story to find out what happened before that game. The gameplay is obviously different from main line Zelda games but I still enjoyed the gameplay.
