I have had this CPU for over a month now, Playing Total War Atilla, Skyrim and Goo, all maxed out. Make sure to check all the wiring when it arrives and the 2nd Drive needs to be configured out of the box, only takes 10 minutes, plenty of YouTube videos out there. For the price, You cant beat the Power. I don know how I lived without a SSD, Boots up in seconds.

bought this pc may of 15 and ran it stock for a year and its been great for games, the ssd drive holds windows and boots up fast like a mac, the 2nd 1t hard drive is included but wasn't set up to use, ( click the folder on bottom task bar then right click "this pc" then left click "manage" then left click "disk managment" you will see the drive on the bottom right click it and select "new simple volume" and run through the set up wizard. The phantom 240 case has great air flow with 1 intake fan at the bottom front and 1 exhaust fan in rear top. your able to add another intake fan in the front and bottom center with 2 more exhaust fans in the top of case. The mother board ms 7817 is good but only holds one graphics card and has 4 sata cable connections so you can add an extra hard drive the processor intel i7 4790k 4.00 ghz is very good gtx 960 graphics card 2gb will run new games like bf4 cod acu aliens wow, nfs and the division fine, it has a bit trouble with arma 3 and ark survival evolved and slight stutter with acu unity on ultra settings power source is only 500 watt but handles the stock system fine. for the money its a great computer to get into pc gaming. what ive upgraded and would recommend to others down the road would be upgrading to corsair 850 watt power supply $120 (which had the main plug to mother board and an 8 pin wire that splits in half to connect to the other 4 pin adapter on the mother board, all other connections were easy to connect.) i would also go with the gtx 970 4gb gpu for about $350, or jump to the gtx 980 ti 6gb ($650), as the 980 ti is only a hundred more than the gtx 980 4gb ($550), and runs about 20 frames per second on ultra settings. the last thing i would upgrade is the cpu cooling fan for 50 bucks once you upgrade the graphics card and overclock the processor. this system with an evga nvidia 980 ti gpu, 850 watt psu, and better processor cooling fan with an extra hard drive will run the price near to 2300 but is still cheaper than an imac and will run games with graphics that look better than real life for some time to come, but even if you keep the original gtx 960 gpu download evga percision x to controll your graphics card fan speed and easily set your cpu fan speed through bios. also the middle case in the front that holds extra drives removes if you need more room for cables or a big gpu... great gaming pc well beyond the capabilities of any console ...included 2 stock pictures

I have enjoyed this machine for about a month now and I have been very impressed. All my games can be set on HIGH great for gaming. Takes like 10 sec max for full start up maybe sooner. It is a powerful machine. It did however not come with the terabyte hard drive turned on. I had to go into settings to do that it was only using the ssd drive at the beginning. But other then that GREAT machine.

This is the first time I have bought a PC that was labeled as a gaming computer. For the cost of this PC I am very happy with the purchase so far. I play a lot of WoW and it is currently running the Ultra video setting and getting about 99 fps, with a raid frame rate around 50, though have had it dip to about 30 when doing Kazz. I also play Final Fantasy 14 but have yet to play that on this system but I'm sure it will play it without any difficulty. The SSD makes for quick start up, first time with this feature as well. I love having the computer ready to go in seconds.

I spent a few weeks looking for a good gaming computer. I tried looking at Alienware, CyberpowerPC, ASUS, and a number of other places. They either did not meet my specifications in terms of hardware or were simply too pricey. This computer was PERFECT for my needs. It was fairly up to par in terms of specs AND it sold for less than 1200 dollars. This is pretty much on par with the value you might get if you just decided to build a PC yourself (A tad bit pricier but without the effort needed to buy and put on together). Albeit it came with a few slight hitches that is to be explained. Nonetheless, these can be easily overlooked. It arrived only 2 days after I ordered (I live in California), and came out of the box looking great. First thing you have to do is remove the case's cover and then remove the protective foam they put inside the chassis - which is great because it ensured some of the more likely damaged components (namely the graphics card) arrived relatively undamaged. Upon removing said foam, I quickly noticed 2 problems: the hard drive and SSD were loose. They had both fallen of their mounts (whether it was intentionally packaged this way or had fallen off during transport is unknown). Thus, it required a little bit of manual reassembly on the buyer's part. I had to carefully reposition and replace both drives to their intended positions. Beyond that, I replaced the cover on the case, plugged it in, pressed the power button, and voila! It turned on. Beyond that slight hitch, the computer runs very well! It is very quiet compared to a number of other computers around the house. In terms of performance (I would assume any buyers are interested in gaming), this thing is fantastic! It ran all of my games that my previous PC (an Alienware X51) had to run on medium settings at a nice comfortable FPS on high,ultra, and max settings! Good enough for me. Pros: The SSD comes preinstalled with windows 8 whereas the 1 TB hard drive comes blank. As a result, expect Windows to boot up very fast (I say this coming from a person who has never previously used an SSD). The inside of the case is well organized and leaves plenty of space for you tinkerers to upgrade whatever you think is necessary. Runs very quietly and very well! Has a nice blue/green glow when gaming in the dark. I also received my PC with a free Far Cry 4 mouse pad (nice touch), keyboard, and mouse. Cons: Expect the drives to arrive loose. A little assembly may be needed.

This computer is amazing for the price. The graphics card, storage, and ssd all make this a spectacular mid-high gaming PC!

Cons: Just starting with the cons cuz i was so annoyed The first system i received from IBUYPOWER the graphics card was no good as i got error code 43 and looked like i was in the matrix...took it to best buy and they replaced it (were very easy to work with) a week later i got the replacement unit and it started fine until I realized the computer was only recognizing the solid state drive. The internal hard drive was not plugged in...once it was plugged in it still didnt recognize it. luckily my brother walked me through how to get it working...but what a pain to go through for the price you are paying...I dont blame best buy but IBUYPOWER clearly doesnt test their units before shipping...I will continue with this computer now that its fixed but one more issue and its going back...Also the wifi adapter does not get a great signal when my router is one room over Pros: Once this computer is fixed and works the way it should its amazing. Boots in about 5 seconds great graphics card to play virtually any game on high settings. Decent enough memory to store the games (although 2TB may be needed in future) the keyboard and mouse work great. Plus the free upgrade to windows 10 is also a nice touch. This computer is also pretty quiet, i was expecting the fan to be much louder...cool design and lighting If i knew it was going to be this much trouble i probably wouldnt have purchased this computer...however...if you get a working one right away then i highly recommend this product as it will do anything you need it to do

Getting this computer was a decision that I have come to love. I was worried at first because I have had multiple problems when it comes to shipping, but right out of the box, I knew this computer was taken care of. Tightly held in place by styrofoam and extra padding at the top and bottom kept this computer well secure. Yes the setup took a bit of time but was not nearly as long as some other computers I have gotten. Not only was it a simple setup, but the computer passed all expectations. The manual was simple to follow and told you how to set it up with ease. Trim was already enabled because the SATA cable was connected to the SSD first so I didn't have to worry about that, and the hard drive just needed to be formatted. Other than formatting the hard drive, everything was pretty much set up for you at the start. As for games, you can run most games on the highest settings and almost all on high-medium settings depending on the game. If you are a big gamer and are looking for a computer that runs amazing for the price, I would definitely recommend this computer. I will definitely buy from iBuyPower again.

Ive had this computer for more than 2 months now and i love it. I do photoshop/video editing so the i7 was appealing, the 16gb of ram is beautiful, i cant live without it anymore! I play a lot of casual games like LoL, CSGO, PoE, SWTOR, Blade & Soul all playing anywhere between 60-300 fps. I generally was looking more at something that was going to be able to push out 60fps on most games at 1080p, for around the same price i coulda gotten the next one with the 970 which woulda been in the long run better for gaming but i really wanted the SSD storage, 16gb ram, and since i dont really play new gen games this was a solid choice for me. I paired this up with a logitech 502 mouse and a 27in dell 1080p 60hz / 6ms monitor. (Def not a true gaming monitor but for the time ive been using it i havent had any issues with using it at all) The keyboard that comes with this is HORRIBLE. But its better than nothing, its looks pretty nice too, the mouse is ok as well, but id def recommend getting a better keyboard, very uncomfortable for me. You can easily find some affordable mechanical keyboards for under $80. As far as the OS, im use to 8.1 because its what i used on my old laptop, its the horrible honestly, gets some getting use to but i wouldnt really recommend the update to windows 10 because on my gaming laptop i had a good amount of issues with nvidia drivers, and some games. One last thing, i guess my model didnt come with the LED lights on the fan or the case? But its alright for me. Overall really awesome, and well rounded PC.

I haven't tried it extensively, but it seems very fast and was easy to setup. Only two downsides for me are that the audio does not seem to be very high end and that it didn't have a Blu-Ray drive. The graphics are excellent, the SSD is a very essential addition for making the computer run programs and games faster, as well as starting quicker, and the video ports are nice. Also runs very silently - the most quiet computer I have had so far.

No problems since receiving this computer. Everything was ready out of the box. Literally just plugged in my monitor and was good to go. The computer is silent and runs cool even after 6 hours of gaming. I've only played Diablo 3 so far, but my settings are maxed out and I'm always above 120 fps even in groups. Also I load in and out of games faster than everyone else with it being installed on the SSD. I wish it had more SSD space though. Also a gtx 970 would prolly be worth the extra $120. Those can always be upgraded down the line and I don't need them at the moment so I'm a very happy customer! Also the power supply is an allied sl-8500btx 500W. Just thought that was worth mentioning since it wasn't mentioned in the product description.

This is the first iBUYPOWER computer I've purchased and has become one of my favorite brands. I was recommended this computer by my techie friend that said this computer is a great deal when on sale. Please bear with my long post, I've got lots to say about this computer. Pros: The case. Very futuristic looking, very similar to a storm trooper! The case itself is big, with lots of room for ventilation. Large fans in the front and on the rear panel for a very good push/pull setup. Blue fan lights up the interior very well and really showcases the video card. SSD. From now on, I will always get a SSD for my computer. The difference between a regular hard drive and adding a SSD is night and day. The computer boots up in under 30 seconds compared to 2-3 min of my old hard drive. Video card. NVIDIA GTX 960. This BEAST will run any game I throw at it. I mostly play LoL, but Witcher 3 was a pleasant surprise when it ran at high settings flawlessly. I'm guessing this entire setup will last me 4-5 years. 16GB of RAM. Overkill almost, since I usually run most my computers with 8GB of RAM. This guarantees I'll never lag when running multiple programs. Mouse/Keyboard. Both are wired, great for gaming. I'll be switching to a mechanical keyboard very soon. But this one will be my backup. Cons: Windows 8.1. I'll be upgrading to Windows 10 the first day it releases. I'm not use to the interface of Windows 8.1 since I've always stuck with Windows 7. My overall review of this computer is very positive. The cons are mostly my personal preferences of software. This computer is great for the price and will last me a few years of gaming. When the time comes to buy a new rig, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another iBUYPOWER computer. I highly recommend this computer to any gamer out there (especially if it goes on sale).

I bought this PC hoping to be able to play most games at high settings and being able to edit videos. Wasn't really expecting much. However, this PC had me shocked by the performance of it. Ran games at maxed out settings with great frames. Windows 8.1 came installed on the SSD which allowed for a faster boot up. Takes literally 3 seconds to boot up. Everything had an easy set up and this is by far the best deal I've seen. Excellent pricing. Shipping was fast and the PC came packaged in a great condition. The included keyboard is good, not the best but works. The mouse had me shocked. Really great mouse. However, an issue with BestBuy is that the picture isn't completely accurate. This PC does NOT have a blu-ray drive. Only includes a regular DVD drive. And I haven't found where the light is inside the case. But, this PC is excellent and serves my needs. Great price. Good job iBuyPower!

To my surprise, this computer came to my doorstep very quickly. About the computer: It is really easy to set up, as many of the parts were already plugged in and all I had to do was take out the foam and adjust the hard drive. It is very great in running games such as CS:GO, League, HotS, and Overwatch in the highest of quality. The computer speed is amazing as load in times are much quicker due to the SSD. The computer also looks very nice in general as the tower color looks great. It is also bundled with a keyboard and mouse so I did not have to worry about looking for these accessories along with the computer.

Okay I have been reading the reviews on this product for a while and it seems like the problems have been fixed on newer devices, but when I first got my system. I had the biggest problems ever with wifi. The wifi adapter they give you is really bad I was getting worse download speeds then on my old computer. So I had to go out and buy myself a wireless extender that had ethernet ports that I could connect to my pc. After I purchased that there was no more wifi problems for me. And I am still not sure if my ssd and my hdd should be all under one drive or not still but I got over that quickly. ( I used to have a gaming laptop where all of it is under one drive.) Overall this computer is amazing I just wish the included wifi adapter wasn't so bad. But this has helped me alot in my workflow between design, editing, and gaming.

This is an amazing gaming pc. Very powerful and fast and with the SSD it boots up in seconds. I can finally play all my favorite game at max settings. With 16GB of RAM this computer never slows down running multiple apps. I would definitely recommend iBUYPOWER to anyone.

This computer goes wickedly fast. The solid-state drive disk definitely makes it boot up in seconds. You do have to configure the extra disk size as commented before. Also, the PC tower did not bring the blue lights as shown in the graphic or pictures others have posted.

First off.... Computer runs fantastic! Its fast i mean lightening fast. But that means nothing when only having it for 3 weeks with one game installed and no internet on it yet. I get a "no boot media found, please insert boot media and press any key" i had geek squad do a teamview and check my computer out. I had two maleware things installed that came from factory. After that still not working. Took it in and on the forth day i bought a new ssd since it was higher in gigs and a good brand. Two hours later geek squad calls me and said the 128 ssd that cqme with the ccomputer was no good! Lol geek squad was awesome during this process ibuypower needs to do a little more Q/A on there products! Anyways i wont send it to them so i had them place my new ssd in. Buyer beware! I will only upgrade from here on out i will not send my computer to ibuypower. So disappointed!

This computer is a steal for this price. I looked at so many computers before purchasing this one for Architecture school. The computer has everything I need, and then some. The buying process was easy and quick and the delivery/installing process was even easier. The instructions were clear and well described and I had no issues setting it up. The computer is beautiful and the keyboard and mouse it comes with are great too. If I could buy this computer and feel the rush of seeing it turn on for the first time everyday, I WOULD! Fantastic purchase. Highly recommend. (2 other people in my program have already purchased the same computer. 5 stars!
