Better than I thought it would be.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wanted a tower to game on but didn't want to build it. I have only had it a day but I have run it through most of my games. Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, PUBG, Star Wars Battlefront 2, and Tom Clancy Wildlands. All the game are on high settings, and run very smooth with no issues. The fans are quiet, the biggest things I would want to upgrade later is a larger SSD and the graphics card. But as of this moment they are ok. I did have to go Nvidia and update the graphics card but that was minor. I think my biggest complaint was the PowerDVD that came with it via cd, it is only a trial version unless I just dont see where to put in a code or something.

Great computer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking to build my own computer, but came across this while searching for parts. Almost exactly what I was looking for if not better, at a very reasonable price. Quality components that allow me to use the programs and games I need to, without trouble. I definitely recommend this computer.

Great Computer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I began my search for a gaming computer as a complete novice. I wanted to make the transition from console and I knew that I didn't want to get a basic gaming PC to start. Given the current price of computer parts, choosing this pre-built made logical sense. It is an extremely cost effective way to ensure you get quality parts (e.g., graphics card, processor, etc.) which a huge ceiling for growth. The case has plenty of space for a future liquid cooling system and I eventually plan on upgrading the motherboard. Overall, real happy with the purchase. Performance-wise, I'm getting just under 200 FPS on Fortnite. The PC runs smooth and is awesome.

Great PC!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer by IBuyPower was perfect for my son's gaming needs! It works fantastically and the price was just the amount we were looking for! He was wanting to build his own but was gonna use the same parts and it was only 100$ cheaper so with Best Buys return policy, we opted for this one!

Awesome tower
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded to this one because my wife wanted a tower to game on and I've been wanting to upgrade so I gave her mine and I got this one. So worth it. I have everything I have been wanting. Smooth gaming. Beautiful case and glass. Nice color changing feature with the lights. So much RAM. Perfect.

Great in current GPU economy!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this computer while into the drought of proper graphic card pricing due to cryptocurrency mining artificially inflating cost. It's a quite great machine for the price. I never thought I'd buy a pre-buiilt, but here I am! Of course after I got the Trace930 I went up and price checked it and it was a decent price from what I could find. That combined with someone else being responsible for mis-matched components is a perk worth noting. I definitely feel like I made off better than I would have if I built a machine of a similar caliber. However, a few things did come up that was disappointing. First off, the graphics card memory could easily have been doubled for less than $30 on the consumer end--which would likely have been much less expensive for a whole-sale manufacturer. That said, I haven't had *too* much of an issue outside of some multi-tasking on my single monitor. Secondly, the 120GB SSD is a must-have for Windows and your main games; but it fills up quickly and declines dramatically in speed if you don't leave a decent bit of free space for it to work with. It wouldn't have been at all expensive to double this. That said, I suspect they purchased a bulk number of components for their Trace930 line and did a single design and intend to run it until it's effectively obsolete. Both GPU and especially SSD technology has been improving at a break-neck speed, so it might have been a pretty highish-end machine when they designed it and gathered all the parts. Aside from those hiccups it's a pretty great machine! The case is quite beautiful and despite using the kind of small remote you'd find with cheap RGB LED lightbulbs it looks pretty fantastic and much more fun to play with than I anticipated. I never thought I'd enjoy a case with a windowed side, but I've enjoyed this one. Both in spite of, and because of, having a young child/toddler. it entertains him spectacularly and it makes for a great teaching opportunity to see all the different components. The window is actual tempered glass which really adds a sexy and cool factor and looks great with no clouding and is especially easy to clean. The opposite side of the window is a thin, textured (hides marks and prints), metal sheet that's hinged. This grants you access to an area behind the layer which the motherboard is mounted and the actual side of the case which makes for fantastic cord control. On top of that there's a 'tunnel' along the bottom (that you can't really see into from the glass side outside of some cut-outs to allow cables out of it) which runs the full length (depth?) of the case. In the far back is the PSU and moving towards the front-end you have the trays for additional HDD--all neatly tucked and protected inside of this. On the top-side of this chamber is the SSD (120 GB Western Digital Green) mount with room for a second. All of this makes for a protected a pretty, yet easy to access and swap, computer case. I was a little disappointed that there were only two RAM slots and they seemed liked fairly generic sticks, but they work fantastically and the small-ish, but large enough to improve and work on, motherboard. The top of the case has two USB 3.1 (I think) slots as well as a headphone 3.5 and microphone 3.5 jack. On their right is power button which is a perfect finger-sized (think roughly an iPhone Home button--maybe a hair larger in circumference) power button, which is circled by a nicely executed red glowing ring. This ring doesn't change colors with the rest of the case RGB lighting, but looks great regardless of what you choose to do with it. Particularly as it's fairly separated from the rest of the lighting design. It's a nice, matted and 'muted', glow that's easy to identify and see, but isn't going to light up a bedroom or actually illuminated anything else in the dark. It's also very easy to see even in the brightest of sunshine. If I recall correctly, the power button functions can be changed (just via the usual Windows 10 means) which means it'll get clicked, with a fantastically tactile response, by little fingers without interrupting a game. Air flow is fantastic. There is a large intake under the protruding shape at the front, intake along the lifted perimeter along the bottom. On that note the feet that this thing stands on are gloriously sturdy with very grippy, but not sticky, feet. Insuring airflow, protection from liquid potentially running underneath and away from even long carpeting. the top of the computer is largely this very fine, high-quality, type of wire mesh. It looks like even if there was a spill it would be fine enough to deflect a bulk of the liquid. Straight down from that you have the tunnel-like chamber holding the 3.5" HDD trays with the PSU in the back. The only thing that would be threatened would be the solid state drive (which is further back), but most importantly, the back of the GPU is directly underneath. The mesh is supported underneath by some thicker, more rigid, hexagonal shapes, but there is still a degree of room for the mesh to flex before it comes into contact with the support. That said, I think the top it's a perfect mix of appearance, protection from dust and maximizing airflow to reduce fan noise! I love love love it when companies take pride in their product and it often shows most in the packaging. It's protected in a fancy styrofoam shell that floats it in the box. Almost like an egg-drop contest solution. In fact, the fit is good enough it can actually be tricky to initially remove from the box. Inside the glass panel (retained by high quality, O-ringed, nicely gimped thumbscrews) is this pillow of expanding foam that helps prevent loosening of components and protects the 'important bits'. I only know it's expanding by the directions on the outside of it for the people doing the packaging. That said, there was this NASTY sticker near a top corner of the glass that took fair bit of effort and chemical assistance to remove. Super sticky, paper that peels, disintegrates, and tears, tons of goop... it took between 5-10 minutes to get that cleaned up. It's very sturdy with no creaking and a very reasonable degree of flexing making it tough, quiet, and very light for the space and features it provides. Included is a keyboard that totes as being spill-resistant with bright red lighting... only on the iBuyPower logo. It does have some media keys across the top. The 4 on the left side are pretty useless launch short-cuts and on the right you have, in left to right order: Play/Pause, Mute, Volume Up, Volume Down. Which is a strange order in my opinion. The keyboard itself is a pretty typical USB, dome membrane keyboard with some cheap sticker inserts in recesses along pointless plastic bevels. It's pretty unwieldy in size and totes an ISO layout instead of an ANSI layout. Meaning it has the "tall" Enter/Return key typically found on older keyboards which pushes the "\" key down to home-row next to the Semi-Colon/Colon key. Based on my preference and familiarity I sent a LOT of \'s at the end of sentences or ended them too quickly by accidentally pressing Enter. Thankfully I've recovered and set up my personal keyboard in the ANSI layout. But, again, it's simply preference and familiarity. The included mouse actually has some decent lighting. It's a bit on the smaller side and has a bit of a scoop for your thumb on the left side with a back/forwards button above. Raised small plastic dots in the thumb groove and opposite side provide a bit of texture for grip despite just being an entirely injection shell. It has a pretty good-feeling mouse-wheel with a solid click response and it's left/right buttons are integrated into the top shell like you'd find on Razer or Steel Series (or Zowie, or Roccat, I think) mice. Instead of seperate pieces like a Logitech. I actually lost half of my right index finger 4ish years ago and still struggle finding great mice for me, but this was pretty decent to hold and click thanks to it's size and low-weight actuation clicks combined with the buttons being integrated all the way back. I didn't have any issue with accidental clicks from resting my hand/fingers on it either. Despite being set up in a more permanent area now with some of my typical computer peripherals I still might use it. It has a single DPI switch button below the wheel that toggles through 4 settings. Up to 3200 DPI, if I recall right. It has an optical sensor (down to shining a red beam if picked up) that seems to be pretty consistent and reliable. It's a pretty light mouse, too, but has enough substance to not over-shoot what you're pointing at.

Fast, Colorful, Easy Setup
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is sold as a gaming PC by Best Buy and I can agree with that. The keyboard is set up for gaming with the WASD keys highlighted in red with keys for quick access to your browser, email and multimedia controls. The solid state drive is fast for start up and file access during gaming. The Nvidia GTX-1060 video can handle most any graphics you might use. The secondary storage is plentiful with the 1TB hard drive. The only minor complaint is that there is no DVD drive. An external DVD drive is easily added via the USB 3.0 ports. iBuyPower builds solid PC's with just the right color touches to make them interesting. An excellent computer.

Great Gaming Computer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love playing World of Warcraft and have issues playing on computers that aren't very fast nor have lots of memory. With this computer I have had no problems at all. It was easy to set up and connected to WiFi with no problem. I love how the side of it is glass so you can see what makes the computer run. It is neat how I can add to and customize this computer easily by unscrewing the side panels. I also like how I can control what color my computer lights up as with the remote. I can even have it cycle through the colors and change those settings as well. It was very easy to put together. All the parts were labeled.

I am SO pleased.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to drive four hours to pick this baby up, and I'm so pleased that I did. This desktop is PERFECT for gaming, and is exceedingly physically appealing to the eye. It runs very smoothly, and I can run most games on pretty decent settings. I have absolutely no complaints <3
