After seeing many reviews for this system and for IBuyPower, I decided to give it a try. I had a Dell that was supposed to be a "gaming system", but it was horrible. I want to start off with some of the more recent reviews and address some of their complaints. Many people said that it does not come with the Windows 10 activation code sticker, and they are right it doesn't, but if you take the time to read the small print beneath where it states one is needed in the quick start up guide it also states some systems do not require one. So its either IBuyPower changed the system in the last 2 months, the people reviewed the wrong system, or they just didn't bother to read and freaked out when they couldn't find it and started calling customer support. The other complaints seem to be Best Buy specific, ie damaged products. Yes, I have had to return items including PCs (not this one) in the past because they were damaged. This comes down to making common sense decisions if the box is damaged ask for a different one, I have done that (started doing so recently) and haven't had the issues I had in the past. It is good to look and see how many they have in stock that way if the person is lazy and doesn't want to get one down you'll know if they have an additional one. I was lucky and the guy that helped me was friendly and said I can get a different box since that one looks like it was dropped. People forget that the persons doing freight aren't always the brightest crayon in the box and tend to stack heavy items on fragile items, sometimes this is done at distribution warehouses as well. Another complaint everyone has is that they are provided CDs with the drivers and re-installation disc, but no CD drive, many reviews said they had to install the drivers from the discs. This isn't true when the computer booted up i pulled up the Nvidia system control and everything was working, meaning the drivers are already installed. People should look at the positive at least they provided you with the driver disc and the re installation for Windows 10, most companies DO NOT include these items. You can tell they are a custom company as they include the owners manual and even the stickers from MSI for the motherboard and the graphics card (Nvidia). You can always buy an external dvd drive for $20 if you really desire one, but most things are online including drivers... Let's talk about IBuyPower: I did research on several custom gaming computer companies, one company told me I needed two HDMI cables to connect the system to an HD TV, which is not true. This was not IBuyPower, the technical support at IBuyPower were very knowledgeable and friendly, which made me more inclined to purchase their product asides from all the good reviews I had seen. They answered all of my question, and yes i did throw in a few trick questions that I already knew the answers to that other companies failed, and if you are wondering if you connect a HDMI cable to the graphics card and run it to your HD TV you get sound and video just like with a PS4 or Xbox One. The system: It was an easy set up, although make sure you read the start up guide, the system is shipped with a foam insert in the tower itself to keep wire harnesses and items from being disrupted in transport. Make sure to remove this foam. Once it was plugged in and an HDMI was run from the graphics card to the TV it turned on with no issues and was very quiet. The only sound it made was from the hydrocooler on the CPU as it ran the first bit of fluid through it. The fans were quiet and worked very well I ran the system for several hours and it was as cold as the house. The system can handle just about anything I installed some primary programs to the SSD and used the 1TB drive to install steam and my games including the Nexus mod manager. It downloaded Skyrim in about 10 minutes while running other programs and installations. The video quality was auto detected for Ultra High, so if that is what you are wanting this system will provide. To address those saying, don't buy build instead, they obviously have not priced the equivalent build. I used the ibuypower site and built one to the almost exact specifications and it was 200 dollars more not including shipping (which is roughly equal to tax in most places). Plus you will have to wait 5-10 days unless you pay for an expedited build time. So overall it is worth it to buy this prebuilt system. To wrap it up, the computer seems to work great with no issues thus far. if you want a top of the line system that will be easy to upgrade in the future this is it.

I picked up this PC due to updating my current one that I built about 8 years ago. This one had everything I was planning on using for the PC I was going to build from the water cooling down to the 1080 GTX. The price point came out even better than the items I could build if I bought them all separately. I couldn't believe it as a PC enthusiast. Love the PC and how silent it is. The only down side is the mobo does not have optical output (meaning if you want that you may need to buy a sound card). The next upgrade I would do is an M.2 hard drive.

Nice case, very quiet, powerful enough to run any game at ultra settings. Room for additional hardware. The controllable lights are really nice. Best part.. water cooled!

There aren't any reviews for this desktop, so I'll be the first because it deserves it. This is an absolute beast of a gaming desktop. My game hasn't even downloaded all the way and the graphics still look amazing and it gives me over 100 fps! I've never even seen this before, I was flabbergasted. This is amazing quality. I definitely got what I paid for, plus some. This is my first gaming desktop and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for an amazing gaming desktop! Thanks BestBuy! :)

I purchased the Ibuypower PC a few days ago and have loved the fast speed of it and how easy it is to start up. It may not have come in the prettiest box, but once getting it out, it looked like a masterpiece. The lighting, and all the components so neatly compiled into one machine. It's also insanely quiet, along with being good for multi-tasking or gaming. I do suggest that you wait until it goes on sale considering once I bought it, I got it $100, but a day later it was $150. Their tech support is also swell! Seems like a good company to me! (First gaming computer)

I recently had to use my warranty on a cyberpowerpc, that was damage in delivery, the people at bestbuy gave me a great deal on a replacement, this pc is fast, and dependable, and plays all my games at the ultra settings, i am very please with this pc, by far superior to the cyberpowerpc, i would recommend this pc to everyone looking for a great gaming pc, at a low price,

I got tired of waiting for the next generation to come up to speed and down on price and decided to purchase this instead - ibuypower bb931. I have to say so far, it is a very nice system. When first powered on, I did have to go into BIOS and select the proper boot drive - it kept trying to boot off the 1 GB data drive at first boot. Once I changed it to the proper 240 GB SSD drive it booted fine. Took about an hour to update Windows during the first boot. Once done system was fully updated, with the exception of a newer Nvidia driver that needed to be downloaded and installed. After loading tons of my games again (network installs-note:there is no DVD or CD drive), it has been performing very well. It is also more expandable then I expected from an off the shelf box. It has 2 M.2 slots - which I find impressive. It is VERY QUIET so far - even when running games at full settings. The fans on the GTX 1080 (MSI Armor Version) card only turn on when they need too and when idle I can't hear a thing. There is a one extra fan slot on the top of the case if you want to add an extra fan. Haven't done any benchmarks or temperature readings yet - but it is performing very well in my opinion. I am glad I decided to go this route instead of building my own - this meets my needs just fine and is expandable enough for me.

Great price for all the integrated components. Liquid Cooling is good, a very quiet computer. Boot up is very fast with the SSD. Graphics look amazing.

I had been looking for a desktop system to replace my home brew that was getting kind of long in the tooth. I have been assembling my own for about 25 years but was tired of providing my own tech support. The DD931 was about the 10th off the shelf system I reviewed and after talking to "Brandon" at the St. Johns Town Center Store in Jacksonville I came home and started looking seriously at the ibuypower.com DD931. One note about Brandon... he has characteristics I admire in a sales person. Among them plenty of product knowledge without reading from the box or information card on the display and, more important, when I asked him a question he wasn't sure about or didn't know, he didn't hesitate to say so and then proceed to get the answer for me. This system uses top of the line components (Mostly MSI) and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 is about as good as it gets today! I'm an old time gamer who still believes that Microsoft Flight Simulator is a pretty good benchmark for raw computer/graphics power.. In addition I run a 4 monitor system and the DD931 handles all the views, including the virtual cockpit, all at max settings, without breaking a sweat. Although I've had this system only for a week I couldn't be any happier. "Infant mortality" Iis a problem with sophisticated electronics so yes, some folks will experience a failure within the first 72 hours no matter how much load/stress-shock/environmental testing the systems are subjected to. Between ibuypower.com and Best Buy it shouldn't be more than a temporary inconvenience. If you need an awesome desktop for gaming I don't see where you can go wrong with this one!

I could not believe I found a computer with a 1080 8gb graphics card and a i7 7700k CPU. This tower is beautiful with tempered glass on both sides. My only complaint is that is does not have a optical drive or spot to put one.

Awesome system and good value, everything runs smoothly. Just wish I had realized there was no spot for an internal dvd drive.

The review summary of this item is accurate. It was excellent from the first boot up. It is blazing fast, quiet due to the liquid cooling. It boots very fast due to solid state drive. All games I have tried on maximum and done fine. Might like 32GB of system memory, but its running great already. It comes with a remote to change the color of the internal lights, you must point the controller at the glass side of the machine, not front of machine. Also, this is one of the rigs that "auto-registers" with windows 10. But it took a few hours to occur and meanwhile windows kept accusing me of being non-legit, of "faking the funk," of not doing my duty. Windows 10 told me I should feel horrible about myself for not playing by the rules and registering my obviously suspicious self. After a few hours of written onscreen beratement, the rig was able to "self register" and become sentient. I apparently am no longer suspicious by Windows 10.

So overall, this is a pretty solid machine. Top of the line parts, boots super quick, plays games with amazing speed and graphics. If you are looking for a powerhouse.. look no further... however, it is not without its quirks. First, the machine I received had an invalid Windows ID, so I was unable to activate windows. I had to call in geek squad to get that fixed. Whoever assembled the machine at IBuyPower had put in the wrong numbers. Second, (and this is more of a windows 10 quirk), I wish a search of the machine from the start menu ACTUALLY searched the whole machine. The C drive is the SSD and 250 MB, the D drive is the 1TB drive. I transferred all my files, etc. from my old computer over to the D drive (as I had over 500MB worth of pics, docs, videos, etc..) however to search that drive I can't initiate the search from the start menu, but have to go to the specific drive and search for it. Keep in mind as you use the computer, anything you put in your documents, downloads, etc are going onto your SSD drive and you will very VERY quickly eat up space, so you will want to actively keep transferring from one drive to the other if you like to save things on your CPU instead of trusting int he cloud. Final quirk, is that the computer comes with a free gift. However, you HAVE TO write a review in order to claim it. Thus, here is my review. Overall, it is a good computer, but I am not a fan being told that in order to receive my "free gift" that I have to write a review of your product, but if someone was looking for a solid computer, i would recommend this.

This is the best gaming PC I've ever owned. Super fast, extremely quiet, and insane graphics! You can hook up multiple monitors into the graphics card, and lots of usb ports for add on accessories. VR ready, well above minimum/recommended requirements.

I'm reviewing the: i7 4.2 ghz ,16 gb RAM, and a GTX 1080 8 gb card system. I can't recommend this system enough. When you compare this to similar Alienware system (the closest competitor on the Best Buy website) the ibuypower system comes out on top both in terms of cost -- it's quite a bit cheaper-- but also in terms of hardware. Ibuypower uses name brand components rather than proprietary ones. You get an MSI Pro motherboard, the 1080 is an MSI card, and the RAM is name brand as well. The CPU is liquid cooled which is a nice bonus. That not only keeps the system cooler then but it's nice and quiet as well. The system is built cleanly as well... all the cabling inside the case is kept out of sight. The cables are hidden behind the motherboard so you don't see them at all if you open up the case to get at the hard drives (I added some extra ones easily.)

Less than a year and I have to shop for a new one!

I bought this last Sunday. It fired right up and immediately went to work running my games all at Ultra with no problems whatsoever. It is super quiet. I have the side of the case off currently and wouldn't even know it was on if I weren't using it and my LEDs weren't flashing (which look very cool through the tempered glass). I was going to build my own unit, but for the price I simply couldnt outdo what this one does. The main components are MSI z270 motherboard and MSI gtx1080 Armor 8gb OC (a beast). All in all I'm glad I saved myself the time and headaches and just got this from our local BestBuy. It's not the perfect gamers rig perhaps, but for the price I don't see anyone outdoing it any time soon.

I got my order 3 days ago and just love this system. It's fast, powerful, and silent. Very well made, brand name parts, full of documentation, & CD's included even though no drive comes with system.

I was browsing best buy to get an idea of what I wanted for a computer when I came across this ibuypower pc. The specs of the computer are phenomenal for the price. You would be hard pressed to buy this same computer part for part for much less. The PC itself is very snappy boots up really fast and runs game at ultra high settings. I had Gears of War 4 (part of the xbox play anywhere) and downloaded it and cranked the settings on a 4k monitor and it looked an played incredibly! Very excited to try more games and really push this pc to its max. The only downside I would say is the mouse in keyboard that it comes with feel kinda cheap, they work fine, just feel kind of plasticky.
