This has some great hits of the Legend James Brown. The only negative is that you will want even more hits.

James Joseph Brown (May 3, 1933 – December 25, 2006) was an American singer, songwriter, dancer, musician, record producer and bandleader. A progenitor of funk music and a major figure of 20th-century music and dance, he is often referred to as the "Godfather of Soul". In a career that lasted over 50 years, he influenced the development of several music genres. This Icon CD has 12 tracks of some of his best funk, soul and rhythm and blues music. A great CD.

Any album by the godfather of soul is going to be (not good) great! But this is the perfect collection...spanning his discography and showing his talent from funk to soul to R&B. If you can find this...get it.

James Brown is my family member's favorite music artist and I thought it would be a great gift for her. I don't think it is all of his hits, but it does have the ones she like though. That's what's most important!

Although Best Buy has discontinued music section, I was happy to find a bin full of my favorite music at discount prices. Please bring back your music section.

This album took me back a few decades. Several classics from the 1960s and 1970s when the quality of music was better. I absolutely love this album. Rest in peace James Brown.

I bought this CD for the price and content. This CD, is very worth the money. The songs are great. It doesn't give you every hit, I.E. "Living in America", but the rest are there.

Was glad that I found this CD cause the other one I had was worn out & hadn't heard his tunes back to back for quite awhile. Thanks to Best buy I can now listen to James Brown anytime.

Love James Brown especially all the oldies. He delivers every time. The best was a sale CD for $5.99. I am 62 and prefer CD's as opposed to streaming.

The Samsung 65" SUHD TV that I purchased at Best Buy more than lived up to it's expectations. The picture is clear, especially when I play Blu-Ray DVDs. An excellent purchase.

This is a nice mix. It helps being able to play 1 cd instead of changing. Hubby plays every yr on his bday lol.

Nothing like some classic James Brown from the 60’s and 70’s. I like cds and burn to mp3. Cheaper than downloading and you always have the original. I’ve had some downloads corrupted so this works great.

Have loved some of his songs from when i was really young. Glad that his music lives on forever.

It’s awesome to buy CDs you love for $5.00. Great memories listening to this music as well!

James Brown is one of the greatest R&B artists of all time, and this CD has all the great songs that I enjoyed in the 60's & 70's.
