love brandon boyd and his voice !! Nice melodies !!!

I'm a huge Incubus fan. I've been into their music since "Fungus Amongus." This new album, in my opinion, has no approach. It sounds very much like Brandon's solo album , "The Wild Trapeze." After "Light Grenades" I calmed myself down and thought to myself, "I will wait for their next album. After going on hiatus, they might go back to their funky, hard-rock roots"... and boy, was I wrong. The entire album is SLOW. The music/lyrics aren't bad, but every song is slow with the exception of "Switch Blade." I've had this album for about a week or two before it was released. I downloaded it. And I'm very glad I did it... I wouldn't have liked to have spent $10 on this poor album. So, unless you're a girl who thinks every slow, romantic song is "cute" and "awesome," I wouldn't recommend this album. Or unless you're an Incubus fan who loves to spend money on their original stuff. Not me. Those 10 bucks will buy me something else that's worth it. So again, I shall wait until they write an INCUBUS album (not another Coldplay CD)

the new incubus is a good overall disc........but only a few songs touch on how they have been sounding recently. the songs and singing are good......just pretty mellow. so if your in a mellow mood it works well. not their best......but worth getting if your a true fan!!

I love it already. Only a day with it in hand.. and I'm a huge fan. I've only had brandon boyd's solo stuff to hold me over for the past 5 years... and now that incubus finally released their new record... i can honestly say that it's PERFECT! Yes, they have grown and matured as a band... so it sounds a bit different than their previous stuff.. but nonetheless it is AWESOME!

I have been a fan of Incubus for many years, but I was completely disappointed with this CD. The vocals are great, but the music is pretty bad - wish I wouldn't have bought the CD. This CD being "not up to par" even caused me to cancel my plans to see their summer tour because I don't want to waste my money hearing their new songs which I really don't care much for.

This is an album you'd have to listen to a few times in order to pick out the good songs, but when you find them you're not disappointed. However, once you do, you won't be compelled to revisit the rest of it. "If Not Now, When?" has a few truly awesome moments, but I'd recommend just streaming this album, and buying the ones you like.

I'm a huge Incubus fan, but this is total garbage! I don't like 1 song and it pains me to admit it. WTF Incubus!!! Why did you change your sound from Make Yourself?!??! Very disappointed!!! Don't buy!
