An excellent Pulse Ox & a great value

I contacted iHealth support as the device wouldn't connect via bluetooth. What I sent; I recently purchased the Wireless Pulse Oxiometer and installed the app. The problem is getting my iPhone 4 to "discover" it. Unlike most Bluetooth devices this seems to not have a "discover" mode i.e. no button, switch or other way to initiate discovery. Would you explain the synch process? Their reply; Thank you for stating your concerns. Unfortunately, the iPhone 4 is not compatible with the PO3. iPhone4S +, as well the iPod touch 5th generation +, iPad 3+, and iPad mini because of their "low-energy" Bluetooth capabilities. If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact us. My reply; I just checked iHealth's site and Best Buy's. Neither state iPhone 5 etc. Might this be an "oversight" Or? There was no additional reply from iHealth.

    A Little Thin

This item is very flimsy. It seemed as if it would easily break (thin). It also did not work with my Galaxy S3 even though the phone showed it was supported. Great idea. Just needs to be sturdier.

Have tried to get assistance in resolving the issue of Bluetooth connectivity, have received none. Felt it was a bit flimsy, my other pulse oximeter is sturdier. But that was okay. Was a little concerned about the accuracy, I wait for a few minutes for it give a, hopefully, accurate reading and compared the reading with my other device, it read the same or very close. Due to the Bluetooth connectivity issue I see no reason to use. Ihealth really needs to expand the operating systems it can hook up to and definitely do something about the Bluetooth issue, because that seems to be a real problem. Would not recommend this product at all. Seems a like a good idea but was not tested thoroughly and really to reach a larger market it should also be android compatible.

Just bought this Pulse Oximeter and it synced very easily. Seems to be pretty accurate and simple to use. Hopefully it continues to work good but if anything changes I will update my review.

    Nice looking device...but not accurate

I purchased several of these low cost oximeters. I started to notice very low SpO2 readings when using on healthy family members. I compared the readings to a professional device and discovered large differences. This device gives a fast reading, but I have serious doubt about the accuracy and don't think its accurate enough. This device is more about looks than results/performance.
