Posted .We are sorry to hear about your disappointment. Some iPhones are not compatible because Apple failed to include Qi Charging as a feature. That has nothing to do with iHome. Apple did correct this with the new iPhone 8 & X.
Solid product at a reasonable price

The new clock is very finicky with phone placement. If it’s not perfect, it will not charge properly. Many times you don’t know this until morning when it’s to late. Also, still a little old fashioned and would like a radio, which this does not have. You can wake up to things from your phone but as far as I can tell, it has to be the same you fell asleep to.
