I wanted it to act as a cd player in my new car for books on tape. My review may not be helpful to others because I had a specific goal in mind.

Cheap plastic and very hard to operate. In addition, I couldn't figure out how to select an individual track to play or repeat. I wish I had bought a portable CD player back in the day when they were of better quality.

It didn’t work but since it was a birthday present it was past the 14 day return policy. Won’t make that mistake again! I will shop where they have a longer return policy from now on.

Had to hold it down manually for the player to read my cds and play them. Returned it
