I had high hopes for this iLive portable CD player, and there were a few things I did like right away. I was pleasantly surprised that it came with headphones, and honestly, they sounded pretty good to me. The design and layout of the controls also felt good to me. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended for me. When playing music, there was a noticeable low-level static sound in the background. I tested multiple CDs to rule out disc issues, but the problem persisted. After about 30 minutes of use, I started experiencing playback glitches where parts of the current song would repeat every few seconds. This happened with every disc I tried, which made the device pretty much unusable. I’m really disappointed because I was excited to have a simple way to listen to CDs again, and I do like the look and feel of the player. But with these sound and playback issues, I’ll be returning it. I wish it had worked out.

Batteries do not last very long. Also, can not find an ac/dc adapter for the player. I think when an electronic item is sold it should have info on the accessories. I.e. adapter for wall plug in!

The cd player works well, there needs to be a power cord available because the batteries die quickly.

Cd player died in my 17 year old SUV. This was a cheap way to replace using the AUX cable. Sales person answered all my questions and bought the product because of his knowledge. Once again BEST BUY rocks when it comes to customer service.

Being not a very "tech" person, I was looking for something very basic to replace the one I had for years and years before it quit working. This is convenient and easy to use.

Works great and just want I wanted in a simple CD player. However, wish it came with an AC adapter. There are several "universal" AC adapter on Amazon, so may pick one up in future.

Easy to operate gift for my 89 year old mother in law. Always easy to shop Best Buy. Good value for money expended. Now she can listen to grandkids piano playing from afar on cds.

A throwback to the days of portable CD listening, my son loves it as the teachers at his school allow him to carry it around since it is not a smartphone. Seems to work well, the headphones included aren't total garbage, either.

My husband has a big CD collection and these players are perfect for him. He likes it so much I went back later and got more to keep us backups.
