It was the only portable CD player available at my store. I am going to try returning it and putting that money toward a used Walkman on eBay. Here are my reasons: 1) It is anti-skip, but it still skips even if I am seated. Forget about the "portable" aspect. 2) I have spent more time trying to fix "Er" messages than I have listening to music. The instructions that come with the CD player don't mention error messages. 3) I don't think it recognizes enhanced CDs. I keep on getting a message, "Disc," which, like the error messages, is not mentioned in the instructions. However, my 1980s stereo system recognizes enhanced CDs just fine. I was very eager to buy this product, because I want to listen to my music, but obviously that will not be happening.
