    Apple always delivers and they did a great job on execution of this desktop device. The M1 processor definitely seems to be a little faster even for mundane uses. I’m sure if I really stressed the process or with video editing it would shine even more.

    I was reluctant to replace my beloved 27" Retina iMac with this smaller version, but I am completely happy with the result. The M1 display is so bright and crisp that after a couple of days use I no longer notice the size difference. I had the option to order the iMac with the Magic keyboard with numeric keypad, but I didn't want to wait the additional two weeks for a Configured-to-Order system from Apple. If there had been an option to purchase the larger keyboard with the iMac in the store, I would have gone that route. The base model M1 iMac has only two USB-C ports and I was afraid of being constrained by that limit. There are so many USB-C hubs and docking bays available from BestBuy or Amazon that this too has proven to be of no concern for my use. With that said, I have no regrets in replacing the 27" with the new 24".

    This is my first Mac computer and it takes some getting used to of navigating when you’ve only had Windows all your life. However, I live the Retina display and how easy it was to connect to all of my apple gadgets. I absolutely love how sleek the size of the entire unit is. The only thing I don’t like is how the screen easily moves across my desk, I wish it had more stability in staying in one place.
