Speed, screen size, ease of use and especially style are outstanding. 16MB RAM and 1TB SSD availability would have been nice. Added 1TB external SSD and my understanding is 8GB RAM on M1 processor = more RAM on Intel. 2015 iMac and 2019 MacBook owner.

This is more of a review of Best Buy's customer service. I'll quickly review the iMac. Apple quality is always top notch and here is no different. This was replacing a 2009 iMac that finally seen it's last day. The amount of RAM could be more but it surpasses my 15 year old machine and would highly recommend this machine. Especially for the price it was on sale for. NOW FOR BEST BUY CUSTOMER SERVICE...I ordered this on a Wednesday. They had 2 options, delivery on Thursday or Friday. I chose Thursday. Thursday comes...no delivery. Friday comes...no delivery. I contact Best Buy Friday evening and they assured me it would be shipping out that night and arrive the next morning. Saturday comes...no delivery! I contact them again and they said they would contact me in 24 hours. Guess what? Sunday comes and no contact! I call on Monday and they tell me they will contact me in 3 hours. Surprise...no call! I call later in the night and the level of excuses went to a new level including blaming the eclipse that happened earlier that day! I had enough! I told them to refund my money and I'll pick it up at a store somewhat close to me. They said they couldn't do that. I asked them to contact the store locally and change my order to pickup...nope! The only thing they kept saying is that they would let me know by the 18th if it can be shipped even thought the money was already taken out. If not then I would be refunded my money 7 to 10 business days after. I said that would be close to 3 weeks of Best Buy taking over $1000 out of my account. So then to not delay the return of my money any longer I told them to cancel my order immediately to which they responded they could not until my item was shipped which is what I have been asking them to do all this time! I asked multiple times and they would never let me speak with a Supervisor saying they would only tell me the same thing. I was going to contact my bank the next day to see what they could do and finally I get the update that the item was finally picked up for shipping. No contact from anyone at Best Buy, just a notification from UPS. With the dates that were promised I was to be home as you need to sign for an item like this but as they shipped it out so late it was to arrive on a day I was at work so I had to pay UPS to accept delivery. When I arrive to pick this up, the person at UPS was surprised it did ship as all Best Buy did was stick a label on the iMac box. No outer box, packing materials...nothing. He explained that normally the driver wouldn't or shouldn't have taken it because of possible damage in transit. Am I glad I got a good deal on this iMac, yes but I can honestly say without any doubt that this will be my final "bigger" purchase online with Best Buy. I found out later that the same deal was on Woot and actually $50 cheaper! With the horrible outsourced customer service, lies and excuses...I can see a lot of customers looking elsewhere for their needs.

I returned my iMac because it was only 8gb of ram. To pay as much as you pay for a new one.. I feel they should be faster. Also Best Buy should have 16gb rams in stock!

This is my 3rd iMac. A great machine! I wish it had more RAM. But that is why God invented external hard drives. I have found the iMac to be versatile and overwhelmingly helpful on so many levels. It truly is First Class

The new M1 chip has issues with Adobe Creative Suite, especially with Adobe InDesign. Also, although Apple mentions that the system handles RAM more efficiently, this is the first time I ever received a warning to close applications to free up more memory. 8gb isn’t enough for desktop publishing, even with the M1. Unfortunately the 16gb wasn’t available. I’ll be happy when Apple and Adobe gets these issues corrected.

The new iMac is great except ya want more ram at least 16g . The computer is great for small task and home use..

I upgraded from an older iMac and I was really excited as this is beautiful and fast. I clearly missed the fact that the only models that have larger memories and /or allow memory expansion are the ones bought directly from Apple. The Best Buy bundle was nice but not worth the trade-off for only 8GB. I returned this one and repurchased directly from Apple.
