Been watching this one for a while. I have been jonesing for something similar to Breath of the Wild. Unfortunately, this game plays somewhat sloppy and awkward on the switch compared to other console versions. The storyline and characters are very entertaining and I am trying to give the game the benefit of the doubt for attempting to run on the switch. I’m hopeful to see it through, but will most likely continue waiting for breath of the Wild 2 before attempting any more open world games on the switch.

It's ok. I hate the button layout, and the only button you can use for attacks are the triggers and bumpers, which I find annoying. I'd rather use the face buttons for attacks. I found no way to make this happen even though you can (supposedly) map the buttons. Anyway, this made the game unplayable for me. But, with the hour I played, it seemed fine. Very Zelda-esque.

Fun game. A drop in quality on switch, but the portability makes it worth it.

This game is really fun and the storytelling is ver well done. I admit it started a bit slow and almost boring. It seemed like a straight BOTW rip-off. However after completing the instructional first island, the game became very fun and interesting afterward. While it does borrow from other games visually and stylistically in some ways, the quirky storytelling is really funny and unique. I enjoyed completing this game.

Gave as a gift to a teen boy who gave it high praise as entertaining and fun!
