The customer service is amazing! I just wish they had more employees so I didn't have to wait so long...

I brought in a Pioneer head unit to be installed in my 1994 Mustang. I purchased the unit from Crutchfield and was going to install myself but was unsure about some of the connections and decided to have professionals do it. I brought everything in I was sent from Crutchfield (including the tool to remove the old unit). About 1/2 hour into the install, they said that my front speakers were blown out and I could get them replaced and installed right then for a discount since they weren't busy. So we went into the store and picked out a pair of speakers that were marked 1/2 off on the shelf, but when they were rung up, came up full price. A manager was called and approval for charging the listed sale price was approved. When the car was returned to me, the guy said that he thought my amp was going bad and that I could bring it back sometime and they could fix that. As I drove away and tried out the new bluetooth feature, it didn't sound "full". When I got home and played around with fader and balance settings, I then noticed there was no sound coming from the right side speakers at all (front or back), and that the balance control was reversed. Then when I tried to close my windows, the driver's side power window no longer functioned at all. I brought in a car with old but functional speakers, and left with half my speakers not working and a window not working. (I took the car to a local mechanic that discovered they had accidentally unplugged the window control unit while installing the speaker.) I am extremely reluctant to have that Best Buy, or any Best Buy, work on my car audio again. I even mentioned before they started working on it that I had another car that I was thinking of replacing the head unit in if I was satisfied with the way the unit they were installing sounded and functioned. I was reluctant to work on the car myself but probably couldn't have messed things up anymore than the "professionals" did. Also, they either kept or threw away the head unit removal tool that I received from Crutchfield.

I had no tunes in my car and I had to drive all the way to Sacramento California to the closest installer and the only appointment I could get was it 5 PM so it took me two hours to get there. And then I couldn't get the detachable face plate off. i'm still waiting (after the geek squad [two days after I posted a complaint] showed me how to get it off, after 10 minutes) it still takes about 30 seconds to a minute to wiggle it off.
