    poor service and ignorance hurt future sales......

    bought radio that included "free installation" what i found out what that the store that i purchased it from did not do radio installations..i was directed to the nearest store..i was told that it would be at least two weeks for an appointment and then only spots that were late afternoon or early evening.....so the " free installation turned out to be a ruse......i went to a local stereo shop and paid to have the radio installed....

    Unhappy with the whole process. I was not givin options and felt bullied into making a decission i am not happy with . And my wood grain was samaged and i was not told.

    So far I'm not happy at all. First appt to get installation the tech said he didn't have time to do it. So rescheduled us a month later. 2nd appt the tech installed and said it looked great but isn't working, to go to dealership. Then everything in dash started acting wonky. So still no working stereo when I purchased in December as a Xmas present for son. Next visit is Feb 16 in Richmond, Indiana. I'm not leaving until he has a working stereo.

    I. Am. So. UNHAPPY. My service was scheduled for this afternoon. I have been sitting here in the store for 2 hours with my service dog. They knew I was waiting in the store- the only good part of this experience was being able to sit down. I just went to see if they were finished or close to it - nope they were just chilling... car door is open but no one is working on it. “We can reschedule you, they said” but I have already been here for 2 hours and I do not want to do this all over again. An employee just told me that all of their real installers quit during furlough. I am SO disappointed in this experience!!!!!

    I was quoted over the phone by two different people after they asked what kind of car I had $119.00+ tax complete. When I got there the installer was very rude an he said it was $209.00+ tax I almost had a freakin heart attack. My appointment was set for 1:30 and it was 4:20 when it wa done. They ran the USB cord thru the glove box [cant use it unless I leave it open while I'm driving]. I suggest if you had to have one installed that you go somewhere else.

    Slow install

    I arrived the tech told me come back in an hour. I came back after the hour with a cold drink for the Tech. He was working on another called after about an hour and a half. I was going to just go home it was Christmas Eve. But instead of coming to the window to talk with me. He when to my truck and just started pulling the trim off of my old radio. And then went back to work on the other vehicle. I guess this is how Best Buy’s keep a customer from leaving!! After being mislead about the install time on Christmas Eve. I feel that I was being held against my will. Merry Christmas

    Install manager pushed my install back two weeks. They NEVER called me when parts arrived as promised. I had to research in the store to find out if my parts for the install arrived and found out they had been there for more than a week on the shelf. When inquired about if the stereo could be fit in to be installed before Christmas as a gift - the manager stated that the schedule was booked up and it would have to wait. My purchase was in the beginning of December and Best Buy was quick to sell but extremely slow to follow through on the install and created unreasonable delays.

    Damaged my car. Dropped the ball on claim

    These guys damaged the interior of my car installing car audio. I thought it was going to be okay because they took responsibility and had me sign some paperwork to that effect. Here we are over two weeks later and they have not even filed the claim with Best Buy main office or their insurance company. I had to go over their heads and do it myself by calling the 800#... something they do not like the customer to know they can do on their own.

    Bought a new stereo and had Best Buy install, they have done a terrible job. After the first trip, the stereo controls did not work, the BT sound did not work, and several of the speakers in the vehicle did not work. Went back, had the "good" installer fix - could not fix the vehicle speakers, insist they must have been not working previously (even though the pre-install checklist has them marked as working). BT sound fixed, but now several speakers fade in and out like there is a loose connection. Trying to reschedule a third trip, but their scheduling is not very customer friendly. Now that I am ~$400 into this, wish I never started with them...

    Disconnected my horn will be contacting management

    After install was done parked car and got sent to navy base in Cuba just returned home to find out that my horn was disconnected when the guy did his amateur install I will be contacting management and having this resolved considering it’s a safety hazard I checked all fuses and relays he disconnected the wire in dash that sends the signal to horn he disconnected it when installing the Bluetooth speaker and forgot to reconnect clearly definitely won’t be ever going here for a install again I almost got in a crash because he disconnected my horn

    It needs to be zero stars it just wouldn’t let me do that. I purchased the radio and set up the installation for my 17 year old son. when he got there the guys didn’t know how to install it… told him to pop something off of his car and then if he could do that then they could install it so he’s driving around without his radio. And then I got An email saying that he missed his appointment he did not miss his appointment he was there they just didn’t know how to do it and sent my kid away. Don’t offer a service if your people do not know how to do it.

    the installation people put a screw through the electrical system in my car and knocked out the internal lights which cost me over 300 dollars to fix and then the acting manager said it wasn't there problem after showing her pictures of the screw and the damage done.
