You can feel the heart and soul that Sam Smith put into his very first album. Deserving of the Grammy it got. Let's hope that he keeps the intensity up for future work.

When I heard the first song on this CD, I thought I'd made a mistake in purchasing the album without having listened to any sound bites first. As I listened to the whole CD though, I decided that I really like it, and the first song, which is very "pop", has grown on me. Sam Smith has amazing control of his voice, which is rich with emotion. It is his emotion-filled voice and delivery that make this album a winner.

I saw him performing on TV, he sang Stay With Me. I really liked the song, became emotional, and knew I had to get the cd and check it out. I bought it and must admit...I DON'T love it. Maybe it was my mood, not sure, but I have to play a few more times and give it a chance. It's at least a month now, but haven't played it again. Many of my friends love the cd, I just don't feel the same. Sorry Sam.

The Magnolia folks used this CD to demonstrate the Yamaha RX-A750 and B&W speakers I bought. It really showed them off. I had to have the CD so I could hear what I heard at Magnolia at home. I have enjoyed the CD. I had never heard of Sam Smith before this. His music really shows off a sound system. His music is enjoyable and of high quality.

While I think this is a nice album and Sam has a beautiful voice.. This album is a bit of a sleeper, which is not necessarily a bad thing but I was hoping with a voice like his, there would be a more uptempo track or two... Guess I can't be upset at the album's consistency... All around decent album.

Not my typical buy a little slow for me, but was a gift for my girlfriend and she loves his music. His voice is nice and the best thing is if you buy it for his radio hit, you will be pleased that the rest of the songs on the CD are good too.

Great Singer....love Stay with Me. Tried listen to the entire on a album on road trip definitely put me in debbie downer mode. Probably don't want to listen to it on your way to the club. Great listen in select settings.

His voice is truly one of a kind. His talent is far superior than others in the music world. I'll admit that I had to listen to this cd a few times before I could truly appreciate what a magnificent artist Mr. Smith is.

I needed a much needed break from the radio. He did so well at the Grammys I went ahead and bought it. I don't regret it at all. It's maybe one song I didn't care for but I can sit through it. Great music.

Mom wanted this for Christmas. Picked it up and it happened to be on an even better sale than listed! She was happy when opening it, and hasn't complained yet... That's a good sign!

I love his sound and his voice. I can relate to the story in most of the songs. The song Stay really expresses what most people feel but can't and or don't want to say.

I have particular songs that I like, but it is nice to hear songs that are easy to listen to, and not harsh, or explicit in nature. I can see why he won a Grammy!

I bought this CD not knowing much about Sam Smith but I actually like it. I love R&B so it's something different for me to listen to that has a little R&B flair.

I recently fell in love with the sound of Sam Smith's voice. This CD was a "must have". I love every song and wish there were more. That is why I gave it 4 stars.

Sam Smith surged to the top of the charts based on the success of his blockbuster "Stay with Me" but you will find there are a lot of equally good songs here.

I just learned about Sam Smith and am getting to know his music. Poppy ballads - I was hoping for more upbeat songs. That's OK, I like what I'm hearing.

"I'm Not The Only One" is my wife's favorite but after listening to the entire CD, the other songs are really good also. Nice selection.

Good music and entertainment. Easy listening! I highly recommend this cd. I don't buy many CDs but am glad I purchased this one

Wasn't sure at first if I was going to buy this cd, but I've heard so many great releases on the radio I just had to get it

Love this cd.the songs on this cd are fantastic hence why Sam won 4 Emmys at the Emmys the other night. This is a must get
