Other than Alone I Stand, We Carry On and the bonus tracks found on the Best Buy exclusive, this is just another run of the mill release from KSE. The song lyrics are pretty good, but the album as a whole has no edge. It is just what you would expect from KSE. Nothing really to wow the listener nor anything groundbreaking or different is found on this album. I feel their first two albums are exceptional, yet they haven't really released another great album since then--And Jesse just does not have power or emotion that Howard Jones brought vocally. I think the band would benefit from a new producer on future albums instead of just having Adam D. produce everything. The band consists of great musicians but they need a new ingredient with them in the song writing department for the same rabbit out of the hat on the last 5 albums is wearing thin. Guess I am hoping the band will someday release an album that surpasses the greatness of End of Heartache....

the music was exactly what was expected-a continuation of past performance by the band.

This is a great Kill switch record, the best-buy special edition is worth buying.

to be completely honest I don't know what I think yet. it sounds like Lynch adopted a little of Howard's style. in the end its sounds like KSE.
