I throw it in my bag, which is padded, with all kinds of other stuff. I don't want the case to get dinged up and I'd like a little more protection overall. I went with this one because it was simple and I'm a fan of neoprene.

It does the job

It fits pretty well with a couple small papers I need for classes. I only have one problem, when I put it in my backpack, a book permanently embedded a crease. It still does the job, but if that sort of thing bothers you, then you might wanna get a case for your case.
