Infamous is a great game. Storyline is well thought out and memorable. Characters are unique with very good voice acting, and most times, funny lines. Gameplay at times can get repetitiive, BUT it isn't that often to take away from anything. Graphics are awesome! Powers are really fun to play around with. I "settled" for Infamous after Prototype wasn't available down here...turns out I didn't because this game didn't dissapoint! Ending to me says "here we come with a sequel" which is awesome. Buy, and enjoy.

I loved this game! You make choices through out it and it changes how the city see you. you are either good or evil and every little thing you do goes acts as evidence which side of that line you're on. Now thing game is a bit reptitive but not as much as Assassin's creed was. so its still a great game. If you're looking for a darker and bloodier game like deadspace i suggest prototype. if you enjoy playing games like GTA i would grab infamous. you know what- take GTA4 and give him lighting powers and thats this game. its too short though i was really enjoying it and i guess i just expected it to be longer. its a great game either way-definitely a few replays in it.

ive been waiting for this game to come out forever and im so happy it finaly launched. the gameplay is amazing: fly around, get on top of buildings, blow stuff up, good or evil, and of course LIGHTNING POWERS =D its like gta with a lil spice in it. the story line is pretty good i havnt beatin the game yet but im excited to see whats to come and the open world to just run around in is fun in itself.

If you are the type of person who enjoyed "CRACK DOWN" you will love this game. You can scale buildings easily and jump down without injury. Now take it there are no assortment of weapons, but everything else is a Crackdown style game...fun. Playing with good or bad Karma is fun and yes appearances do change. If you own a PS3 this is a game to get...unless you have Prototype, then hold off a bit.

It is a Great game. I played the game for hours. The free roam is cool. Travel on the tracks, on top of the buildings, and power lines. There are lots of side missions to get your power up. If a civilian decides in the middle of a fire fight to get in the way you can save them or fry them. The game has a good plot to it. Different areas have harder enemies. Recommend to play on the hard level. A Multiplayer Capability would have been cool to go around with some friends. But overall it is a good game with some cool powers

This is a must buy for PS3 owners. This is a very fun game with a great story line, very good graphics, and awesome game play and controls. After you beat it once you will just want to keep playing it more. The only flaw I can find in it is that most of the side missions are repetitive but that is ok because they are all fun.

This game is extremely fun. The storyline is original and so are the characters. The weapons aren't the same old m4 carbines and .45 pistols. You get to use an array of cool new weapons and ways to defeat your enemies. The city is great. You can go everywhere and climb anything. Buy InFamous it's totally worth it.

This is a great game. Picture GTA and Assasins creed and Starwars the force unleashed all in one game. That is what this game is. The powers work just like star wars because you continualy pay to build up your abilities. The game was long to me and I still wish it was longer. It is allot of fun and the small missions are decent too. My only wish is that I could become more POWERFULL!!!! haha..... this is a must get. I will warn you though. after you beat it, there is nothing else to do because there is no MULTIPLAYER capabilities.... Graphix are great, gameplay is great, game length is great... this is a GREAT GAME!!!! I think it is better gameplay then prototype but this is only an opinion and those differ from one another and that is what makes us all UNIQE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PS3 RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

Didn't know much about this game while I was at the store. Since it read like this is a comic book super hero I bit thinking it maybe fun. Fun it is! You could either go on a path of being a Hero or a Villain depending on certain decisions you make in the game. That's a good idea so it makes the game playable again after you beat it. Right now I'm going on the Hero path but at times I like beating up the civi's because they said something about my character. There is a lot of side missions or you could just roam around and blow stuff up if you don't feel like doing a real mission; like GTA I suppose. Very fun, and somewhat like GTA less the guns for the main character. I'm enjoying this game so far. I wasn't disappointed at all.

This game was a pretty awesome sleeper hit earlier this year. Had it once, beat it on Normal. Got it again to do Evil campaign on Hard, get all the collectibles you can find to increase your energy meter. Doling out electric attacks (which come in many different flavors through the course of the game to deal with different enemies) is always fun, whether you're zapping bad guys or zapping ANYONE. The game's not as versatile as GTA4 or Assassin's Creed 2. You get a couple of different types of missions (around 5 or 6) in addition to the main story which nabs you more territory and makes getting around more easy on you. For being a PS3 exclusive, the game makes the console stand out. Now let's hope the second one is to it that AC2 was to the original, and Uncharted 2 was to the original, etc.

My son and I absolutely love this game. I've played and beat the game on medium as a hero and am now going through on hard as infamous. There is a little bit of language but so little, I can't remember specifics. For the most part the graphics are among the best games I've played. You can tell they spent a lot of time on the lightning effects. There are some glitchy aspects of the game, but mostly dealing with textures and cameras going through walls. Every once in a while you'll get an AI character that doesn't quite die and just flops around like a fish out of water, but hey, that provides great entertainment and a good laugh. Overall, one of the funnest games I've played in a long time. Even managed to find all shards if nothing more than to torture myself for a bronze trophy.

This game is so awesome! I wasnt even planning on buying this game but then I downloaded the demo and I was instantly hooked. This game is great, the storyline is really good, the guys name is Cole and he delivered a package that blew up in his hands and now he has superpowers, the city is in turmoil and it is up to you to fix it or destroy it, it's your choice! Thats whats so great about this game, you decide how the story is going to turn out. The graphics are pretty good for a sandbox game too. Electricity has never looked this good before, there is so many things that you can do with it that I have never imagened of. Overall this is a great PS3 exclusive game, If you own a PS3 than you thould definitly add this game to your collection, you wont be disappointed.

wonderful open-world, beautiful action, great story, and flawless controls, simply amazing. my only problem was it was a bit repetitive and sorta easy. then again ive only played about 5 hours into it.

The game is amazing. You get to play as a person who has electric powers. You alone will determine the fate of the city you live in. The crowd actually reacts to you and cheer for you.

This game knocked me straight out. Playing as a man with electricity at the palm of his hand...Like playing as Zeus. You control what your character is like, what he can do, what he climbs, what he kills, punches, looks like, loves to do...Me and my friend played this from the second i brought it home to 5AM. We still didn't finish the game. We have though, and are on our second run. The hundreds of things i still have to do, trophies, difficulties, powers, karma decisions, etc etc..,.make me wanna play this dusk till dawn. I highly reccomend this game if you own a ps3.

This is a good game no doubt! The Length, Graphics, and challenges in this game are great. For me it was a lot of fun at first, with a great story line, and amazing gameplay. As I continued to play it started to seem like I was just doing the same thing over and over (I basically was because I just kept going in the sewer to restore power to the city.) Now I don't play it to much but when I'm looking for a challenge its always there for me to pick up and have some fun. The best way to find out if you should get this game or not is to play the demo

I'd been reading about this game and was going to check it out either way. The demo popped up on the PSN the other day so I downloaded it. It was great! I went out yesterday and bought the game and played it for about 3-4 hours straight. Some people will say it's similar to GTA but it sort of reminds me of Spider-Man 2 I had on my old Xbox, but now as cheesy or stupid as it was. So far I'm trying to only be the good guy. Maybe in a week or so I'll start being bad and see what happens with his powers.

InFamous is an amazing game with a great storyline. You'll enjoy it if you like great action, lovable characters, and easy yet challenging controls.

pay no attention to the review made by fadersdream below this post, he is a xbox fanboy and jealous of a great ps3 exclusive game. Most likely he hasn't even played the game. This game is excellent, great platforming elements, action, graphics, same makers that made sly cooper 1-3 on the ps2. grab this game if you love action sandbox games with cool super powers.

What can I say. This game is an outstanding piece of work. The size of the game is great. The different paths in karma are very interesting. The trophy system is rewarding. The powers are devastating to the environment. Cole is a great character. I played through both stories and thought the evil side was better. You cannot go wrong with this title. Great game.
