Excellent care for the blu-ray. Everything looks great and I'm very satisfied with it.

No gore, no blood or guts; this one will get in to your head and spin you around a couple three times. Imagine Inception meets the Conjuring and you'll get the gist, but this is better. Not knocking the whole Conjuring universe, as I do like that series, but this series sets a different and more intense astral tone. Very well done and after this, you'll want all 4 in the set.

Purchased this movie for my daughters horror movie collection. She loves it. Keeps you on edge for sure!

In my personal opinion this series of horror movie's are one of the best. I highly recommend all 4 movie's are fabulous!! While you won't get super scared, the story line is great for a horror movie. And who doesn't love Lin Shayne?!! I highly recommend this movie to anyone who likes a good story line.

The movie that started the entire Insidious chapters; it holds nothing back in terms of creepiness and scares. Much like James Wan's The Conjuring, the storytelling portion of the movie, along with the incredible actors and atmosphere, provides the spine-chilling experience. Fans of The Conjuring should thoroughly enjoy Insidious!

What happens when we dream about flying? What if this was actually our spirit traveling in another dimension? What if we get lost on the way back to our body? This sets up the premise for a memorable horror film. If you are looking for a film that builds up tension and has excellent sound look no further than Insidious. Seriously you won't regret it.

Insidious was a welcome atmospheric horror story during a time when found footage dominated the horror genre. Instead of gruesome effects while crowded most horror films, Insidious relied on tension, slow build chills, and the classic evil spirits terrorizing a family to create a great little horror movie. Highly recommended.

This may seem like just another haunted house movie but it isn't. This film takes that idea and messes with it more and more. James Wan is a fantastic director. He doesn't just throw scares at you. He makes you comfortable then builds up the tension until you're on the edge of your seat and then freaks you out.

This movie is super creepy. Do not watch it alone, in the dark, with surround sound at that, if you jump easy! With all movies you have to turn them up to hear the dialog and then the jump scares are louder than can be! Especially with a sound bar and sub-woofer lol. Got me good a few times =]

Insidious is a creepy and fresh update to the ghostly apparition movies. Plenty of startling jump scares while also mixed with subtle horror tropes. Inventive and fun. I haven't been scared like that in a long time. A must see!

Was I taken by this movie? Yes. Am I in the process of getting Insidious 2 & 3? Yes. What a movie - man, the dynamics are unreal, the plot very simply, yet very well executed. Can't wait to see what happens next or wait to see the Prequel [Insidious 3].

Anybody who likes paranormal and supernatural movies, I would recommend getting this. I am into horror films and this is a great one. Plus it has 2 and 3. Also a new one just came, the last key. Good movies, all connected.

The Insidious series is one of the best horror series to follow, however, part 1 for me at least is the best. The BD version is great transfer, not too loaded with extras and features but I got this on sale and it's a gem of the horror genre!

This is proof that you don’t need blood and guts to do horror even though I love gore this was very scary loved the characters story worth the purchase

Often an overlooked franchise, the follow-ons weren't so great. But this first episode was by the far the scariest, with good production value and a truly unique storyline. Highly recommended.

I simply love this movie and it is now one of my favorites along with Night of the Living Dead, House of 1000 corpses, Halloween 1-2, Poltergeist. Spooky and perfect lighting.
