If your like me and most of your headsets are 3.5 and your equipment has the larger 1/4 Jack this works. Though most audiophiles recommend buying equipment with the 1/4 Jack built in. For me most of the time I just want to hear the tv at night or when kids are running around playing and 3.5 works for that.
