It works

Now I can rock out to my favorite tunes! I feel so free! It is amazing! I feel the magic of the music flowing through my head! Or maybe it is delirium from staying up all night listening to screamo music! I can't tell which one is causing more of the head spinning. Well if you need one of these adapters, you will be happy to know that this does what it is advertised to do.

I stopped in at my local Best Buy and they came up with the solution so I didn't have to put those nasty shared headphones on. Thanks!
