I understand where the confusion may be coming from. Check your headphone's 3.5mm jack. Normal stereo headphones have 3 divisions on it, headphones with mic included have 4 divisions. This adapter only works with normal stereo headphones without mic, as the internal contacts do not align properly. Hope this was useful for you. Thanks for you comments and feedback.
