I just purchased this tablet for my birthday, and was so excited to get it, I got it about 4 hours ago, and just got back from returning it, this is the worst tablet/device I have ever had. Please do not buy this, it will cause you heart aches. It goes slow, will no do Facebook or Messenger, will not download anything, the picture quality is only 2mp, so don't take pics, heats up fast, and battery is horrid. I thought for 55.00 It would be decent, but it was the worst thing I have ever purchased. HORRIBLE! Please don't buy!

This tablet was a gift, so of course I was thrilled after the grandkids broke my previous android tablet. Its fine for what I need it for, but as I stated it is excruciatingly slow... Takes it's sweet time thinking, that's for sure. Not real touch sensitive either. Oh well, for $99., I can live with it, but can't really recommend this over any other brand.

I picked up the Insignia™ - 10.1" - Tablet - 32GB to have around the house. MY mother is in her late 70's and its great when she wants to google something random during the day. It is a great size and has everything you would need for a handy tablet. The sad part is I did not read into the negative reviews to see how bad this tablet is connecting to wifi. .I've tried all the tips and tricks. Sitting next to the modem does not help either. It just drifts on and off signal when it pleases. So the tablet gets little use Since my purchase I have been diagnosed with renal and spinal cancer. If the tablet would connect, it would help with the boredom of being confined to bed for such long periods. Since I did not purchase a warranty There is little I can do till I can sell and move to a better tablet. Like I said earlier it is not a bad tablet, it just does not play well with wifi, so whats the point of having it. So read the reviews people.

We bought this tablet for our son. Thank God we also paid for the warranty! You'll need it! The 1st one lost connection to the internet constantly and was so slow it was ridiculous. It also would turn off randomly. This happened all the time. Returned to Best Buy and they gave us another one. We thought maybe we just had a dud the 1st time around. Well we didn't. It's the brand. It is awful. The 2nd one does the exact same thing. We have had it for less than a year and now it is frozen on 1 side of the screen. It is totally worthless. Save yourself the hassle and the money and invest in something that will last longer than a few months. The warranty means nothing when you have to keep returning it and have the same thing happen each time.

I wanted something basic to replace my Samsung Galaxy Tab. This seemed to fit the bill at a wonderful price. 10.1 inch screen for under one hundred bucks... but as been said millions of times before: you get what you pay for. This thing is frustratingly slow! It takes forever to load and run basic applications and will stop responding about half the time. Save up your money to be something more legitimate.

Tablet is okay. WiFi works great. Resolution is above average. But it is painfully slow in processing some game apps. If you want to use it primarily for games, this is not the tablet for you. For the price I paid ($69 on sale) it is acceptable for my use. But I wouldn't purchase again.

I really didn't need an IPad or Samsung because I only play games and surf the net so, I thought this cheap tablet would suffice. Was I wrong. This tablet is slow and it would overheat and cutoff. I wouldn't suggest buying this.

This was so easy to set up - needed a little help with learning things about it like downloading apps and putting them on my SD card. I really enjoy it - I don't have to enlarge screen -its big as it is. Just wish it wouldn't have to be juiced up so often. I can usually get 2 uses with it until I need to charge it. I did learn you can download Kindle and put books on it - however, I also learned that Kindle isn't protected by Norton Virus Protection so I didn't take a chance I deleted it off of tablet.

Apps keep not responding. This tablet freezes I have to reboot a couple times for it to be responsive. Slow wifi connection and I'm no more than twenty feet from my router. I am going to take back and if I cannot return I am going to tell them to throw away. I am over the 15 day return period as I was going to return but got sidetracked. I knew I should have bought a Samsung but I went against my old saying, if it's cheap it's gonna be cheap. No more Insignias for me.

The price can't be beat so my expectations weren't too high but OMG it is soooo slow. Loading pages, d/l stuff and the sound isn't that great. If you can afford something a little better but it.

The tablet is ok for the price. Can't expect speed and performance from budget price. My only concerns are that it feels really hot while using. other have mentioned charging issues, only bought mine 28 April 2017 so keeping my fingers crossed.

My son has used his Kindle for 3 years. After a tumble down the steps we decided to try something new. He really wanted something with a bigger screen. My kids pretty much live on YouTube, and this tablet is perfect for watching YouTube on WiFi at home. He also is constantly using it to Video Chat with his friends. We are extremely impressed with the battery life, and he loves having Google Play. He says there are much better apps and everything is cheaper :) I was a little nervous about the image quality, but he hasn't complained at all.

Very slow to open basic applications that fire right up on other devices - I'm talking basic things like Chrome, Facebook, etc. Makes sense as its benchmark performances are about the same as that of a Galaxy S3; I should have researched before buying. WiFi loses signal frequently. Regardless of what WiFi is being used, it will consistently drop out every 5 minutes or so. I find it odd that the micro-USB port is upside-down compared to other devices, and that volume up and down are similarly reversed. Holds it's charge a decent length of time, but recharges slower than other devices. It's just not a good device in any way, unless maybe you just need a super-inexpensive Android with a large screen and don't mind wait times.

Purchased this item and when opening the box, I think it was a returned one. Finger prints on screen, fully charged, charger scratched. OK can deal with that. Powered up and started the set up process. Problem 1. States POOR wifi signal, 20 feet from router, other items in house have full signal. Problem 2. got HOT quickly. Problem 3 Very jerky, slow and kept dropping wifi. Returned to store, staff at store were very gracious and I exchanged this one for a different make. All in all the store made me happy

This is a really nice tablet for the price. Display is nice clear, sharp, and bright. The stereo speakers are nice and loud. It comes with the basic apps, so there isn't a lot of bloatware added to this tablet. After updating the pre-installed apps, there is still over 25 gb's of storage left for apps. The tablet runs nice and smooth and stable. Videos run smooth. Turns on quick and shuts off quick. Battery life is great. For the price it can't be beat.

we have just reformated the tablet again and now it has taken to showing the battery when at 100% that it only has 45 minutes of battery life left. and it is also shutting down at the oddest times, battery percentage does not matter, it could be 91% or 20% and it turns off. Trying to turn it back on it takes about 5 minutes. all that with the constant freezing this tablet has turned out not to be the good buy I thought it would be.

great value. not the fastest horse in the race, but i can buy 4 for the price of an ipad, so there.

This tablet is terrible. In less than six months we had to exchange it four times with the same problem, it would not charge. Now this fourth piece of junk after just two weeks just keeps flashing insignia and will not load up. With this return I will upgrade to a better brand.

I purchased this tablet during Black Friday weekend in 2016 for $69.99. I hate to say it but this purchase has really made me leery of any Insignia products now. This is basically a rebranded DigiLand tablet. I did wait a couple of months just so I could try and be fair. Since November this Android has frozen up several times on random apps. It's really slow even when web browsing. I hate to say it but in hindsight I wished I had gotten the cheaper model at Walmart instead of this one.

Acceptable for basic internet use. Decent screen. Do not expect rocket fast performance however, and consider spending the extra $60 for a better processor. My daughter could not play her games on here due to lag. Also - the Android system update option does not work. This is a huge issue, either intentionally designed or not. Google should not allow poor quality devices like this to affect Android brand quality. I returned ours the next day due to these issues.
