I bought this tablet to use for my work apps. The resolution is great, the price is great, camera is great . . . but everything else is horrible. It won't hold the wifi (home, hotel or phone hot spot) connection for more than one or two minutes, which makes it impossible for me to use for work.

this insignia tablet is not compatible with the Netflix app. Otherwise it's a an ok tablet for the price and the specs that it has.

Absolutely horrible. Lag is terrible. Everything appears jerky on the screen. I have high speed internet and it is worse than dial up on this garbage. This tablet couldn't be used as a paperweight it is so bad. just got it and back to the store with it tomorrow.

I was expecting it to be slow to mid tier. I could deal with speed as I can go for a complete minimal experience which this tablet does start you off with rather well with pure stock android. It's the latest version of android and the Intel Atom chipset worked great on Windows Tablets. However here is where the problems start. The WiFi in this device is horrible. I get 130-240 Mbps on AC, 56-130 on N and 24-56 on G. This device gives me 54 if I'm lucky but I'm getting wifi speeds of 11 or 1 Mbps which is b/a speeds respectively. The main use for this device was streaming 480p or 720p video or play files off of a MicroSD card but I couldn't get there because it would take too long download files. Hours compared to minutes on every other mobile device I had. Bluetooth took longer than normal to pair and wasn't as seamless as LG or Asus variants, never mind Nexus/Apple. it would crash and lose connection which required alot of rebooting. will be returning this device for something else that's cheap and 9-10 inches.

I waste so much time trying to connect to my WiFi. My Samsung tablet-- no problem, My I-pnone No problem. I have to reboot over and over. Insignia should just quit the business. Now to find a tablet that works, need to roll out to 500 sales people. Save your money, This is JUNK!!!!!

at 1st I liked it but after a little while kept getting pop-up messages saying an app stopped responding n then another app stopped working system was slow, this happened when I barely had any apps installed... I tried many different things to speed it up n fix the apps from crashing/stopping but Nothing Helped it n how slow it is was painfully slower n slower n even doing a hard reboot was slow n didn't help so I gave up n returned it... I thought I had 30 days to return it but found out only 15days n was 6days over the 15days but BestBuy did give me store credit... I Do Not Recommend this Tablet, stay have away from it!!!

I purchased this for simple travel and during chemo.... check email, download movies....I'm returning this product today. It's extremely slow, loses connections, cannot download movies from Netflix?? Pathetic"technology"

Really unhappy with this product, though I have read about slowness, didnt expect it to be dead slow processor. I am returning it. applications get closed and slow for any program to open up. reboots many times, tired.

I couldn't get anything to run properly without crashing. Pre installed apps would randomly stop. Once, the volume up button shut the tablet down with no warning, then when I got it to turn back on, it got stuck in an endless boot up loop. After the 3rd factory reset and only owning it for barely 24 hours, I took it back for a return.

I have had this brand before and they worked wonderfully. Mine were only 16GB and they were a10" and an 8". I wanted two 10" with 32GB. I got them set up and they kept crashing on me. Needless to say they are going back. I am greatly disappointed. I was so excited to get what I thought I wanted for such a great price. Bummer!!!!!

I will never buy an Insignia Tablet again. It stopped after 8 months of use total waste of money, time and energy. Laggy i always had to reboot constantly disconnected from wifi. Do not buy.

Purchase in late April returning today May1st. One reason why I purchased to watch You-Tube videos, the computer does sound only on the videos. Also happening with some videos and pics on Facebook. The message is to update Flash Player, when I attempt this message says computer system unable due to outdated!

I have had this for 3 months. Worked great the first 2. Shuts off....won't restart until I have pushed start button over and over. Now can't wait until I can afford a new and better one.

We got these for my 3 girls for Xmas! They didn't like the kindles they got last year! Well they also got the furby and turns out this tablet is not "smart Bluetooth " so now we have to decide which $100 gift we want to take back because this isn't a Up to date with technology tablet!! Pretty disappointing!!

takes a long time to start up. it's pretty much unusable during that time. once all your notifications load up it runs very ok. i was able to stream HD video after the 10 minute start up period. i'm sure this start up period/notification loading is dependent on how many apps you have push notifications for

I purchased this last fall as a convenient alternative to my laptop. At the time I was inexperienced with Android devices. Over the past year, i have gained experience and learned this is a piece of junk. Many apps are incompatible with the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow system, and Best Buy/Insignia has been silent for over a year on updates. The installed kernal is trying to use a cell phone connection to look for updates, and the device doesn't even have a cell phone installed! Wi-fi connections are unreliable, continuously disconnecting when trying to stream videos. The built in GPS seems to be OK but takes FOREVER to establish a position. The screen is hard to see in sunlight. If you want to root this device, its nearly impossible with any of the currently available tools.

First and replacement tablet-poor sound quality. Both shut down or locks up constantly

I can stand all the people complaining about this product, you spend less of 80 dollars and want an IPad in return. Just be real with the reviews, and if you want quality spend serious money and stop the complaint.
