this is a great device and has great quality and speed but the one thing that sets me off, NO POKEMON GO, it just kicks me out and then pokemon STOPS true, it is good for mortal kombat x and minecraft, it really sucks that pokemon go doesn't work here, though again, Insignia I thank you for the great quality and speed on the tablet, and yet other tablets do the same thing and cost 700$ I reasoned I would buy your tablet, since its only 100$, I got this on my birthday though.... ever since I never regretted that again. my regards to you, Insignia. I'm looking forward to seeing more products like this in the future,

Great sound quality but sadly had to return it....

I purchased this tablet Sept 2015 SOLELY for nursing review app use. NEVER used for anything else. Went to best buy to have it checked today since there's no power. Been experiencing a prolong power on lately but thought it was really like that because of the processor. Customer service told me that it was no longer covered with manufacturer's warranty and since I do not have a geek squad protection plan, should I have it repaired by them, cost will range from $100-$200. I was just disappointed that this product would ONLY LAST FOR A YEAR considering that ONLY 1 app is being used and not that often. Yes, it is less expensive but it will save you more money in the long run if you invest in a better brand.

I bought this tablet about two months ago for my parents just to have video chats as I am living abroad. I knew this tablet was not the best one out there in the market but I was hopping it might be good enough for running simple video chatting apps. Not only the quality of the sound and image was horrible, it failed to connect to the Wi-Fi signal time to time. At first I was blaming the Wi-Fi signal quality for all of that, thinking a brand new tablet could't be that useless, but then came my brother with his phone and tablet, and made me really embarrassed for buying this worthless money wasting tablet for my parents. And that is the major thing, despite an annoyingly irresponsive touch screen.

Purchased this last year and had to return/exchange back to back - first tablet would drop wi-fi signal despite being three feet from wi-fi router, a reboot would sometimes help, eventually not even that worked so went in for an exchange. Second chance - with the replacement tablet, it just decided one day not to boot up, (yes, it was charged, and attempted to trouble-shoot it with no success) - returned to store and was told these tablets are known to have that issue with the power and wi-fi. No exchange this last time, opted for store credit.

Too many problems to make this device worth the money. Here are some of the issues I encountered: No updates or software support for the tablet, spontaneously reboots, thermal shutdown events occur even though the tablet is cool, wrong Android image for the device, washed out display, won't maintain a network connection regardless of proximity to WiFi router or AP. I figure those are enough reasons to forewarn you from purchasing this piece of junk. BestBuy could have had a winner with this tablet if they had spent a little more money on developing a stable Android OS and ensuring reliability of the WiFi.

Worst tablet you can buy for the money second one and the tablet turn off when it wants to takes long to load a page not worth it

I was willing to trade off speed and memory for low cost, but the screen kept blanking out while while using any number of apps. Turning off and back on would sometimes restore the video, but other times turning back on would only turn on the backlighting. The only solution would be to set the tablet aside and wait 10-30 minutes. I returned the tablet yesterday - cudos to Best Buy customer service. Ordering to pick up locally and returning were easy and painless.

This is the old you get what you pay for story. I bought this as a cheap way to get customer signatures. The wifi would not stay connected to the device. I took it to work and home and both places it would not stay connected. I called customer service and they said it was a known software issue and just to return it for another device. I asked isn't that just going to have the same problem and they said no. Well guess what? Got the new one back to the office and wifi goes in and out constantly. It is a shame because this was a really good price for a tablet.

Soon after the short warranty period it went dead. It's a waste of money! Buy a better one that will at least last.

Previously bought the 8" Insignia tablet and when this went on sale, I bought this one. Has newer android OS. Looks sleek. Work well.

I had it 5 days and it quit charging and died. Not a very good picture quality will be returning it for something different.

Got this for my girlfriend..and she loves it!....can't beat it for the money...now I got my tablet back she was using!

I bought this 2 months ago and all of a sudden on a car ride it glitches and freezes. I take it to best buy and since I didn't buy the protection plan they said I'm screwed. They said it looks like an internal cracked screen like as if someone bent it. The glass was fine just the inside was cracked I guess. Never had a electronic device do that. Had numerous phones and other tablets, my son even broke one and it was still working. Cheap material, cheap customer care .

Insignia Tablet works great it can watching movie on netflix with Big Screen :)

I bought 3 of these cheap tablets in this past month. One stopped working after 24 hours and I was able to return it. One stopped working after 24 hours but was dropped 1 ft off the ground and the last one stopped working after 1 month. I did not realize that you BETTER buy the protection policy with this cheap unit because it is not a matter of "if", it is "when" it is going to stop working. Very disgusted at this CHEAP unit and done with any Insignia brand.

This tablet is supposed to have a 1280 x 800 screen. However, everything is gigantic when I compare it to my other tablet that has a 1280 x 800 screen. When I check the resolution via a website, it shows more like 960 x 600. Everything is way bigger than it should be and looks like garbage. Unless there's a setting to change something, I will be returning it.

Horrible. Very slow and apps shut down constantly. I wouldn't recommend this product to my worst enemy.

The 7100 version of this tablet with Android 6 and the Atom X-3 processor should have never made it to the marketplace. Glitchy, constant crashes and nothing but problems with Google Play Services. I immediately returned it and exchanged it for the 8100 version with Android 7 and the ARM based processor which works very well.
