Was fine... Until it wasn't
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this tablet on august 21 and today is august 25 I bought this tablet not really expecting anything seeing as I'm really not all that technologically advanced and wouldnt know what to expect just needed something for emails and what not nothing to major this was my first tablet and at first it was great it moved quickly and did everything I needed it to do I really liked it last night which was the last time I was able to use it I don't have a case for it so after every use I put it back in its original box and put it in my closet but this morning I went for it to check my work email and guess what IT WON'T TURN ON AT ALL it can't possibly be dead and even if it did die it won't charge so its just pretty useless it has sensitive information on it such as banking info and things regarding work and without being able turn power it on to ensure it all gets deleted I'm nervous to even take it back I guess I'm up one no good tablet and out $100

Be ready for disappointment

At least 3 times a day , seemed to have something to do with losing connection to Playstore. The tablet itself was great, but the constant reboots were a problem. BestBuy was great with the return label, so I will try again.

Looked fine but

I had bought Insignia labeled products before, and they were okay. The tablet seemed to work fine, until I tried to connect with my LAN. It just would not connect, so I returned it and was prepared to buy a similar ACER tablet. The store was out of stock, and they said the could not even order the ACER.

Slow!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a nice reasonable replacement for my first tablet (Acer Iconia A700) whose charging port broke, so I searched bestbuy for a similar sized one, and found this Insignia on sale. I have an insignia tv and 3 insignia soundbars that I am very pleased with, so thought this would be a good choice. My requirement was 10inch, android, with a microsd port to copy files. Great, this one was on sale.. However, to my dismay after a couple weeks use, it has proven wayyy too slow from the onset, unlike the description specs. I resort to typing this review on my cell, as the Insignia tablet takes 4+ minutes to boot, 6 to 12 seconds to even bring up the keyboard on input, another 10 seconds to switch between numeric/text type. Ugg. I have secured it with antivirus from the first day, that is not the issue. Just a slow tablet, not worth waiting on. Disappointed.

Garbage

Even when it was straight out of the box and I hadn't installed any apps on it it was slow. Apps take up a minute to fully load. Crashes are common. It won't even let me use a different keyboard I downloaded so i am stuck with the awful default one. Do not waste your money.

Returning after 12 days

Reboots at frequent random intervals, or in one instance "Cannot reboot your tablet". Very disappointed.

Big mistake...bought it on 9/4 and within a day the tablet was getting hot...then to make matters worse the tablet doesn't turn on any more. I charged the tablet, following the instructions to a t and it still won't turn on. I will be returning the tablet this weekend ( not even having it for a week) and spending the extra money to get a tablet that will work.

Disappointing

While sething it up, went black wouldn't turn on again. Took it back, because I bought the warranty, got a new one!! Set it up, played on it for two days, did it again. Second time I have to drive back out to Best Buy!! Getting my $$ and buying something else!! I have never had issues like this before. My android phone is awesome!! Very disappointed!!!!!

It worked OK on small apps game, not Facebook though, but if you want something for email or browsing, don't waste your time with this. I returned it and got a Samsung Tab A, which so far is a much better product and I'm much happier with it. However I am left with a really nice case that I bought off Amazon and not sure if I can return it.

Unusually horrible

Mine takes a long LONG time to do everything; power up or down, open apps, download apps. It's getting returned.

Good except for GPS
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was disappointed that the Insignia Flex 10" Android Tablet model NS-P10A7100 did NOT have GPS as shown on the box and the Information documentation. I was told that GPS only worked when the tablet had an Wi-Fi connection. That is not true GPS. If GPS is listed then the tablet should have a built in GPS receiver so that a location can be found when it is NOT connected to the internet. It appears that some people have different ideas as to what GPS is. It would be helpful it that point was made clearer so that purchasers would not be mislead.

Waste of money
