They play fine, maybe could be a little louder (I added a small speaker). They are powered direct, which ever one has the DVD the other one also plays the movie. Very satisfied with the install.

The 10" screens are the biggest we have seen out there. Fits perfectly on the back of the head rest of the car. Only bad thing is when opening the unit to insert a DVD it does not open very far to allow easy install of the disk.

Fast forward points left, rewind points s right, etc. the remotes didn’t work out of the box, and both units failed in less than a month.
