Not what we expected second screen turns off by itself.

The quality of the product, physical size, mounting ability, display output, sound quality, and functions/features are fantastic and I have no complaints. What I DO have complaints with is the design of the chassis and the ports. Each unit is able to operate autonomously or in tandem with the other unit, and the latter is where the design flaw comes in. Both units have their ports on the left side of the chassis, so when you want to plug in either the power or the 3.5mm cable to connect the units to eachother, the cables plug in on the left side of each unit, leaving cables to be run across the back of the seat or hanging in the open on the unit behind the driver while the unit behind the passenger can be more neatly tucked away. The units are labeled as A and B for the remote control pairings but if the units were also differentiated so that one unit had its ports on the right side while the other remained on the left, it would allow for better cabling. As it is, I will try to find a way to run the cables inside of the seat covers, which may mean extending the cables as needed. My other complaint is that the buttons on the front of each unit have shared functions. Depending on whether you press or press-and-hold the button, and whether you're pressing the top half or bottom half of the button determines what your result will be, which is a bad design when there is plenty of room to have had separate buttons or at least pair the functions better, so the volume functions are on the same button (top and bottom half) and the rewind/forward functions are on the same button (top and bottom half) rather than them being split apart (volume down and rewind on one button; volume up and forward on another button).

Road trip worthy, but a couple of things to note- One remote-one player. The other remote-the other player. Took me 'til we got back to figure this out. But it makes sense. You don't want to pause player A and have player B stop... right? Call it a plus! With headphones-outstanding. Without... it's really hard to hear. But if you're sharing one dvd and playing back to two screens, it's a tad easier to hear, but still not adequate. I dug into my traveling bag of tricks (full of batteries, cords, adapters and a BT ext speaker) and added a small battery powered external speaker using the mini-1/8"/3.5mm plugged into the headphone out jack and that worked very well! But shouldn't need to do the work around. Who normally packs a sound system with them on a road trip? Old school, but ran like it should. One 12 volt adapter powers both units! Has a single 120 volt AC adapter to power one unit at home or on the road. Good pic quality. Plenty big enuf. 6 and 11 yr olds loved it.

This has been alifesaver with our two kids. My oldest child was seven when we first purchased this set. My second child is now a 5 year old and both have ben able to use these without the remotes. We love that they can watch their own separate dvds or watch the same movie on both sceeens at the same time. We have haf zeto problems since purchasing two years ago!

Love it. I keep one at home. And one in the car. The remotes aren’t working. But u don’t need them because the screen has buttons.

This is a great player for road trips! My Grandson travels so much better with it. Was a perfect purchase! Easy to use for our 4 year old and even has a remote if needed!

This portable dvd's worked great for 4 years. My kids loved to have them everywhere. They used it mostly in the car, but also they were able to used them at any place. They did their job and now I am looking to buy exactly a new set and I can not find them.

Good quality video quality sound quality is good just a thing for long car trips with little ones

Great tv and quality! Do wish the holders for the headrests were as good of quality but they work!

The product itself works great. However I was highly disappointed with the delivery. It's said next day and then sends me an email later saying 7-21 days for shipping.

These pklayers are a great value and worked great. No skipping and kids loved them. Unfortunately, they would not mount around our headrests. Note: Make sure your headrest are adjustable, so you can wrap straps around headrest bars.

I bought two of these in one day and they were both broken. The first claimed to be new. After installing it I noticed The DVD player was broken physically. Went took it back to exchange it. There were only open boxes available. The second one was open box. This time around only one DVD player turned on. I didn't Even bother exchanging it. Things need to be really checked before they are put out in the stands to be sold. I was Told 1 was returned 2 weeks prior so either these are not very well made or I just Wasn’t that lucky. Don’t recommend. Best Buy you need to step it up!!!

Best for kids to watch what they want w headphones on.. power cord for car is crap.. it was broken before we used it and the one time i pulled it out pieces were lost and it doesnt work.. no warranty and i dont have $200 to buy a new set... very disappointed with insignia.

Perfect for what I needed which was a dual player system with both inputs and outputs on both units. Allowed me to hook-up a media player for a long trip with two boys!

Purchased these on Black Friday for the grandkids while we take road trips, they work spectacular dont hear a peep out of them.

Bought this for the back of my truck so kids could watch movies while traveling. Work good for a few months, then one of the players color became distorted. Remotes don’t work real well either. Not real impressed.

This is my 3rd time trying to buy a portable DVD player the first 2 were purchased at another BIG box store. This one will not play if it is not plugged in. At full volume if you are not right on it you can't hear it G-D forbid you're running the dishwasher or the AC kicks on forget it. Even with headphones its not loud enough. I hate it but I wasn't allowed to return it (not by best buy but my husband)

Great product. Love the option of a different movie on each screen, or the same movie on both.

Overall really great product!! The power cord seems to be touchy but overall works great
