    It's a network cable, it's long, it'll get the job done if you need a hard connection in distant rooms, it's expensive, and generally not needed in 2018. But if you're in a spot...it'll work.

    I went with the Cat 6 cable instead because this one wasn't allowing me to get full speeds. Could have been my internet but that's what I experienced with this wire. It's also bulky and not easily to hide but it's useful for what I needed at the time.

    It's a nice quality cable and will protect the ends of it because it's braided with a good coating. It helps to reach from one end of my house to the other end easily because you can buy it in various lengths.
