    It connects my computer to a router so I can have internet. It does what it is supposed to do, it's the length I wanted (OK, so I actually wanted 30 feet but they didn't have 30 footers, so I had to choose between a hair short or comically long).

    this ethernet cord worked great for hooking my new vizio smart tv to internet i was able to get wi fi but my signal wasnt good enough to run the apps.i purchased the cord and ran it directly from router to tv for great internet reception

    I was having slow downloads using just wifi. My online game play was lagging and I was getting dropped from the servers. Using this network cable has sped up downloads and fixed my game playing online. I don't use wifi for my laptop anymore.

    I've got CAT 6 in most of my house but a few streaming devices can get by with cat5e.
