i also purchased the 100 ' cable as well. similar purposes of needing more reach from the ethernet port that we installed. i gripes, it works.

For the money this is a good basic CAT5e cable. Works well.

Your Ethernet is only as fast as the weakest point! My house has cat5e connections so even if you plug a cat 6 it will be capped at cat5e

Well, this cord worked great for about a month and a half before it all of a sudden stopped working about 45 days in. And to pile on, apparently Best Buy doesn’t accept returns beyond 30 days so guess I am out of luck. I called into Best Buy to see if there was a warranty I could use, but alas the current hold time to talk to an agent is an hour and a half. I’ll be buying the replacement for this product on Amazon. Not sure how Best Buy stays in business selling products like this, not standing by them and providing essentially no customer service.
