    i also purchased the 100 ' cable as well. similar purposes of needing more reach from the ethernet port that we installed. i gripes, it works.

    Your Ethernet is only as fast as the weakest point! My house has cat5e connections so even if you plug a cat 6 it will be capped at cat5e

    If my internet wasn't bad, the ethernet cable would probably be great. Based off online perfomance with gaming has been good to great.

    For a laptop with a crank Wi-Fi card, this cable works perfectly - use it every evening and put it back with 4-port switch in cabinet.
