Your device must be on this just so to charge. It works ok.

Not worth it. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone because it's kind of a waste of time and if you don't place your phone directly in the center and take all cases off of your phone it will not connect.

Overall it's an OK charger that could be great with a few changes. I really like the design, sleek and simple with a nice soft touch surface. The base is stable and does not slide around. The charger works without any issues using with my iPhone 8 and the leather case. There are some issues unfortunately which I will describe. First, the blue light circling the top of the pad that is always on while charging is obnoxious and unnecessary. It should come on to let you know the phone is placed correctly and charging then TURN OFF. Who wants this light glowing all night in their bedroom? Second issue is the wall plug. First of all its a rectangle that sticks straight out from the wall, then the USB cable plugs into the end of it which makes it protrude even farther from the wall. It not only looks silly but creates an issue if trying to plug it in behind a dresser or cabinet. The wall plug should have the USB cable attached from the side, not right on the end. Lastly, the wall plug makes an audible whine which is easily heard if you are close to it in a quite room. I tested other wall chargers and they either don't make a sound or are not as loud as this one. For these reasons I cannot recommend this wireless charging base to be used in the bedroom, which is where I usually charge my phone. I ended up taking the charger to work where I don't really notice the blue ring of light, transformer whine, and sloppy wall plug.

I love wireless charging...but my Samsung S8 was always warm even after just a few minutes. I am being overly careful, but since I can't replace the Samsung battery, I am not taking any chances. Might work ok for iPhone.

Initially it was working excellent and within few months the charging slowed down. I am still using it but would recommend. I have been using iPhone to charge so not sure about Samsung.

I returned the product. I bought two and both were very bad. Dont charge fast, dont charge completly and get very hot until get hot the cell phone. Both of them

Description above incorrect...not specific to iPhones. Salesperson said device would charge Androids and iPhone....I find it only charges MY phone, Galaxy 8+. No iPhones...and no other Samsung...really odd.

I got this because my cat likes to chew cords so i wanted something to keep my S8 phone charged wirelessly. Sadly this wasnt the case. Even tho someone at Best Buy (either a employee or the Samsung guy, i forget which) told me they were all basically the same, so i bought this one. Yeah they arent, spend the extra money. I woke up with less charge on my phone then when i went to bed. It doesnt trickle to keep the charge going. Also if you have any magnets on your phone for handsfree you might need to move them around a bit. Anyway, returned it and decided to stick with my wires for now.

Not as convenient as a wireless charger should be the phone has to be almost completely centered to charge as its on my desk and I use it all the time I would rather plug it in with its slow charging

Took it home plugged it in and it worked for about 5 minutes before it went dead. Returning product was easy and associate actually opened up the replacement and tested it behind the counter with my phone, it also did not work so we tried a Samsung version to make sure it wasn’t my phone. The Samsung worked and still use it today. It was more money but at least it does what it’s supposed to.

I got this since my cat cant seem to stop chewing cords. Sadly its worse then that. After having problems getting it working because of the magnet i had for my hands free holder in the car, it charged up nicely. The bad thing is that it doesnt tickle charge, so once it was fully charged it stopped charging till it was moved again. I actually went to bed with more charge then when i woke up. Save your money or spend a little more on a better model.

I wanted to like this even though I have read numerous reviews regarding these devices and they are really hit or miss. Most reviews are a miss. This device worked on the first night of charging and then it would charge and then stop charging during the night and I would wake up and my phone was not charging in the middle of the night or had not been charged when I woke up. Not worth it, I am returning as soon as possible.
