Q: Will this work on the iPhone 7?
A: It will not work on the iPhone 7. The only iPhones that it will work with is the iPhone 8, 8 plus, and X. Wanted to correct that since the best answer only says iPhone X.
A: I think nothing. They both use the 15W input, and I assume both offer 10-15W of output (to facilitate fast charging, which is limited to 7.5W on the iPhone). I think they're just adding $5 to the cost since it's apple-associated.
Q: Does this charger work with otterbox defender?
A: Yes I have that case on my phone and it works
A: If everything is plugged in correctly it may be that you have a case that’s too thick on it or it can’t read through the case. I have a tech 21 case and it works perfect with it on. Try taking off the case and charging it without it.

A: Yes I have a Kate spade case on mine and I don’t have any problems with my phone charging

A: No, the light stays on even when it is fully charged. It does seem to trickle charge once it is fully charged.

A: This charging base makes no noise at all; that I have noticed. It does light up, but no noise! Hope this helps!
A: It will only charge an iPhone 8 and later models. As far as the wattage goes, the phone itself will determine the charge rate.
