Not much to say since we are using this for camping only.

The unit heats up very quickly and is easy to use. I would love a temperature read out but the display is just for the timer. My biggest problem with this product is the cooking area. The unit is 11.4" but the directions instruct the use of a pan no larger than 8". I used a cast iron pan and cooked some steaks. The middle part of the steak burned while the parts on the outside of the pan hardly cooked! There is a drastic difference in heat between a 3" radius from the center of the burner and the rest of the surface. I think this burner would be fine heating soups or boiling water but not much else.

Got this on a sale. For the size, it is mostly underpowered. It had a hard time bringing a 2 gallons of water up to a boil from room temp. I think it took around and hour or so.

The book says to use no more than a 7.9 inch fry pan. That is really small, unless you're cooking for just one. Tried a 10 inch cast iron pan. Unit produced center "hot spot" resulting in rapid cooking & burning in center of pan while outside of edges of pan were very slow to cook. This is not my first induction cooktop. Have two NuWave tops that work great without the above mentioned problem. Also have induction range in kitchen. Do know how to cook on induction.

Nice design, heavy duty. But even you turn up Highest power still not boiling point.

Purchased to heat food when I didn't have access to a stove or to keep food hot on buffet table.

This stove is good for 3 or less people household. It takes long time to heat up.

Like many here said this machine has high faulty rates, I followed the instructions, but the machine shuts itself off immediately after I set the temperature/power level and never heats up, plus the fan noise is too loud, this is a must return

Works well however you need to have induction utensils to us this.

I only use one time. maybe holiday day use of famliy party.

Does not get a pan hot enough to cook steak. Will boil water!

magnetic cooktop with a nice glass surface. lays thicker than expected.

It is good to use if you want to take a try outside of the kitchen.

Heat wasn’t consistent. For something quick it works.

Couldn’t get it to work. Maybe I’m doing something wrong. I purchased a pot that meets the specs but it still wouldn’t turn on. The fan only blows. I’m sure it would be great once I figure out how to actually work it.

You can crank this cooktop up to its highest setting, and it will get above 400 degrees, but the moment anything hits the pan, it drops 150 degrees. You can't effectively sear meat on it. I didn't know at the time that Best Buy had a 14 day return policy, and I didn't get around to returning it until around the 20th day, at which point they would not give me a refund and only store credit.

There are other brands that heat better and have the 1300 watt rating.

We replaced an old induction burner that got cracked. That one was never an issue this one used it 2x and it overheats constantly can’t use it 2x in a row without it cooling off Wish I bought a different brand

Induction seemed to be way smaller than the provided circle. Was not very responsive and was also confusing to use.

From the time we first tried to use the cooktop it malfunctioned It never held the temperature properly and would always shut down. Returned for a refund.
