    I purchased this Insignia 11.5 Cu. Ft. refrigerator from Best Buy in June 2024, and it completely stopped working in October 2025 — just four months after the one-year warranty expired. A certified repair technician confirmed that the entire cooling system failed and quoted over $1,000 to repair it, nearly twice the original cost. I contacted Best Buy customer service, but they refused to help, saying nothing could be done because the warranty had expired — even though a refrigerator should last years, not barely over one. We’re a small nonprofit organization and we cannot afford to replace this fridge. Having it fail so quickly, and receiving no support from Best Buy, was incredibly disappointing. Best Buy clearly does not stand by their products because they were unable to offer me any sort of resolution.

    One of the best fridges I have purchased, my only compliant is it had 2 small dents in the stainless steel and the door has a click when it close as it is not seated 100% in the hinge. This causes zero issues to the seal and internal temperature - and would be more of an effort to return than to keep. For that reason, I give it 3/5
