Q: Do you really have to leave 8" on each side of the fridge ?
A: The 8” requirement seems really suspect to me. Seems like a loophole to get out of any warranty claims. How many times have you ever seen a refrigerator with 8” clearance on both sides?! It’s unrealistic and if it seriously requires that, we should all be asking what’s wrong with this refrigerator design.
