The Kenmore we had decided to stop working after five years, so we had to scramble to find a new fridge that would meet our height requirement. Of the few options available to us, this was the best choice due to overall capacity and a few other features we were looking for (for example, I prefer a side-by-side design). PROS: We like the fingerprintless finish. The water filter compartment is easy to access. The shelves on the door on the fridge side are adjustable. CONS: The exterior dispenser is all black, but the photos online (not just on from Best Buy, but everywhere) show a black top and stainless steel body. I also think it’s strange that the water and ice come out of two different dispensers (our Kenmore had one dispenser, and was tall enough to fit a water bottle). The photo of the bottom shelf of the fridge door shows a clear shelf but ours is a solid white. The doors don’t beep if you keep them open for too long. The shelves on the inside of the fridge and freezer are not adjustable. The overall design of the freezer side is terrible - our Kenmore had the ice maker in the door so there was more shelf space (and what am I supposed to put in that tiny shelf in the freezer door?!). I’m not confident about the capacity on the fridge side either, but will have a better idea of what’s possible when I finally restock the fridge (and freezer). And finally, the design of the feet allows for a little movement when you open the doors. It’s more obvious when it’s empty, but the deliver guy warned us there may be a teeny bit of movement even when it’s full. So in summary, I think this fridge works if it’s for an individual or couple. If you have more than two mouths to feed and don’t have the space restrictions we have, don’t buy this fridge.

My choices were limited because of the need for a shorter than normal refrigerator but this seems like a good choice. The things I don't like about it are that it runs noticeably louder than my previous refrigerator and the temperature control is fairly limited (there aren't enough levels so I'm stuck with either slightly too warm or slightly too cold). The interior also feels kind of cheaply made - the plastic coating the back seems really thin & one of the shelves already pushed through exposing the insulation. The biggest pluses are the lighting and the wire can shelf in the door is a nice space saver.

This fridge so far has been pretty good. A few gripes on it. First, the door are off centered. At first I thought it might be a defect or I accidentally installed the handles by mistake... but after I went back to the store to ask about it, I noticed all the LG models had the same issue. (Doesn’t affect the fridge) Second, the right door swings open pretty wildly. It almost feels like the door is going to potentially snap off. I’ve just gotten accustomed to helping the door swing open. Another issue that seems to be a normal thing when I went back to the store to compare. Since the right door has shelves where you can add about two 2 gallon milks, it swinging wildly when you open the door scares me a bit. Other than the two issues, I’ve had this fridge for a few months and has been great. Ice maker makes ice like it suppose to. And everything else is fine
