    I was shopping for a new surge protector with more ports.. While searching for them, I’ve discovered this surge protector by insignia. And chose to go with aNother type with a back up. Battery. The very next day. This one went on sale, and I couldn’t beat it. its similar in construction to the higher priced one that I previously purchased. It can handle less Jules, but for the price point you can’t beat it. !

    I purchased this unit to accommodate the number of appliances on the TV stand. It was able to fit most of the plugs; note that there are many products out there that have a "brick" as a plug. If you have more than a couple of them, it is difficult to add other standard plugs. It is still a good purchase.
