    Use cat6 cables only if you have cat6 cabling from end to end. Otherwise 5e is fine.

    I got this for my Xbox so I can go online for game play. It seems to work fine. I'm a novice gamer so I'm not sure if more expensive cables make a difference, I've never tried them.
