Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.got this to use with an ASIS WIFI Router the $229 one and the cable does not fit tightly into the socket on the router giving it a bad connection I tried both brands Best Buy sells and had the same problem with both so blaming it on the router, but if you decide to buy it I would try to slot it into a router instore to make sure its a snug fit before I buy it.

Well made cable

The insignia 14' Cat-6 cable would have received a 5-star review, but for the high price. Since I was asked to get a cable immediately for my customer, I was forced to pay at least double what I would normally expect to pay for a cable of this type and length.

I know it has proven functionality, but it's annoying when the rubber cover/guard is so stiff that I can't fully depress the arm to release the plug from the computer/jack. I just trim the guard off with my pocket knife when I install these
